Try Magura Gustav. I know Madrhino uses them because of their thin profile. I think they are the thinnest ones available.

Re: CA speed data acting weird above 50kph
Turns out it stopped acting weird before I was going to do the mods!!! So I will leave it alone for now.MrKang wrote:Did the 0,1uF worked for you ?
I have the same problem ..above 52km it shows the wrong speed or goes to zero...
And if it works can you show your modification?

Re: DIY build prep shopping list advice
welcome to the sphere! i'll be brief (its getting late) so here it goes : 1- get a mountain bike with a large triangle in the middle for the pack. you can put your pack in a back rack but they tend to break easily. i know a member who is on his third already. mountain bikes seem to be pretty good fo...

Re: Farfle joins the MENS club
Hey Farfle, I'm really interested in your rear swingarm linkage. How did you make it ? Are they all custom made pieces? Did you use a special BB? Bearings, ...etc? Having the swingarm link on the BB seems like a good and simple idea.

I use the ebikes.ca LED lights (cycle lumenator). I have 2 = 2000 lumens! It is the brightest I have seen. They are amazingly bright! and very efficient also. http://www.ebikes.ca/store/photos/Lumen.jpg

Re: The Unofficial 'CroMotor' Owners Tech-Tips Thread
Unfortunatly I snapped my Cromotor axle yesterday after a heavy acceleration from a dead stop. I had made some room for larger phase wires... but apparently I shaved to much down :(. Now I have to figure out if it's even possible to replace. I have no idea where I can source a replacement axle and/...

john, are there a lot of different options with bolt on rims? like diameter, width, ...etc. if so, could these rims fit on those 2 motors you have : the hubmonster HE and the mini monster?

Hey Alan, nice bike! I have the exact same motor as yours on a different frame, What kind of freewheel is that? I have purchased 2 single speed freewheels and they wont fit  One will not screw on all the way (so that its flush), and the other one has the right thickness but the diameter is too...

CA speed data acting weird above 50kph
I noticed that my CA is giving me weird speed data above 50kph??? Its giving all kinds of readings and changes really fast. My pole count is right, the shunt value is right. Any ideas???

Re: stuttering controller
do you mean the add-on current throttle mod on the CA??? That gives you a throttle that's proportional to power, rather than torque, so is better in some respects than a typical ebike controller that has a throttle that's proportional to speed, but isn't quite as nice a feel (IMHO) as a throttle th...

Re: stuttering controller
fixed! Well... turns out there is nothing wrong with it! At 100 volts, the throttle is so sensitive that even the slightest variation will cause it to jerk. What we need are better throttles for running 100+ volts. Maybe an Algorithm could be programmed in the firmware to make the throttle response...

stuttering controller
I noticed this morning my controller started stuttering a bit near the end of my commute. It happened when I was accelerating at maybe half or 3/4 throttle. Its the first time it happens and i did not change any settings on the CA or the controller before this. Is there any protection inside the con...

Great job Fractal, the bike look great :D The motorcycle rack is a great idea, I paid 600$ ish for a fragile bike rack that wont allow me to increase the wheel base at all.... Re: Hyperion EOS 1420i NET3 14s Balance Charger...
Yes, that's too low for a 12s pack. It should be a minimum of 42V and that's lower than you should take it. Oops, it's saying your input voltage is too low to charge at the rate you want to charge at. Either get a bigger power supply or drop charge amps rate lower. it says battery connection error....
