Re: 12s Lipo ballance charger Australia

I want to charge 24s . I used to have 2 hyperion 1420i chargers and I would split my pack into 2 12s packs and charge both at once but 1 has blown up and they don't make them any more. They were capable of charging 14 s each cheers Alan

Re: bulk charging 24s lipo

If I just hooked up the engine up Iknow it would be much more efficent but I would get busted by the cops this way I can just say its a battery charger .Nothings mechanicly hooked up to the engine except the alternator

Re: bulk charging 24s lipo

It was just an experiment to see if it would work as a range extender and to be able to plug my charger in to the 24v dc and charge my pack

Re: Hybrid project

Yeah it was more an experiment more than anything. Years ago I built an arc welder from alternators , so I knew what sort of voltage I could get out of them . When I got into electric bikes I always wondered if I could run a bike off 1 . There was no way of knowing unless I built it myself . It may ...

Here is the latest project Ive been working on. Its basicly a 6.5 hp motor with a bosch 55 amp alternator. I have a 12v regulator a 24v regulator and it puts out around 102 volts with no regulator. So far in testing Ive been able to use it to run my trike on it. It sags a whole lot more than my batt...

Re: Cromotor v2 + Methods 18 fet controller help

Full Throttle wrote
So, over the 2 days of practice and race combined you managed to go through 1 set of tyres plus a broken chain, rear mech, tube, a couple of spokes, mirror and a frame?
Yeah thats about it. Last time I took my frame in for repair they had it for at least 2 weeks ...
