Re: Speedict neptune lite

Thank you for the review of the Neptune 15! We would like to incorporate it into designs where the individual cell leads may not be available. Can this Neptune 15 be setup without connecting anything to the battery pack but the + and - discharge terminal leads? How can a separate charge and dischar...

Re: Speedict neptune lite

Ok great. I'm running peaks of 50A, so that's good. I look forward to receiving and trying this out. I will be running it on a 15S4P HG2 pack. Currently out of balance due to a previous BMS letting me down. I intend to give this battery quite a thrashing, so will post my findings here. in the mean ...

Re: Speedict neptune lite

Thanks for the info. What is the maximum current of the Neptune 15. I just bought one without checking! I am running high current, so it may not be usuable on this particular project.
it is 60A

Re: Speedict neptune lite

What is the difference between Neptune lite and Neptune 15?
Neptune Lite display / monitor cell information only without charge / discharge / balance features.

Re: Speedict neptune lite

hi Ulli, please focus on neptune15-real.jpg, wire pairs of CONTROLLER(discharge) and CHARGER(charge) are connected differently inside Neptune, the DISCHAGE path is bypass CHARGE MOSFET (see pic "current flow diagram (split)"). I am 90% sure you will tell me that they ARE connected and regen-breaking...

Will the speed sensor feature work with a speed sensor built into a hub motor if it's using a single magnet and coming from a separate wire?
Neptune 15 use simple magnet on / off type Speed Sensor

Today I connected my Speedict as always with my battery 18S (4,15V per cell); but it has seen sparks in the Speedict and this no longer works, how I could repair it? I am interested in this because I would not mind paying 15 € << No Fault Expedite Replacement Services >> Over the years we have expe...

extended the end of charge cell voltage or cell voltage protection to 4.25v.

Re: Stack-able Low Cost Balancing BMS

The neptune draws power from the top cell. Total fail I interpreted "top cell" actually as powering from pack terminals, as ground is common usually and 3V will not be best voltage to work with. :) But we can ask again, more specifically. yes sir, Neptune Lite or next coming Neptune 1 powered from ...
