Mobipus Controllers

If you speak to him and know a way for Sketch and I to get our controllers repaired and back it’d be appreciated Luke. Its a lot of money for us to lose and I’ve tried every other avenue.

Re: Definitive Tests on the Heating and Cooling of Hub Motor

Thanks Cowardlydyduck, I've read your messages with interest. No doubt fans are a very efficient way to dissipate heat. My questionning these days, though, is how to have a minimum of heat to remove at 14kw nominal / 25 KW peak, by not producing it. This is vital. Find a motor with a decent portion...

Re: Mobipus Controllers

Guys I would love to do a group buy. Sorry I haven’t been around but I took time off ES until they got rid of a major USA dealer that was threatening us all while pretending to be a victim. I will be back around now. Anyways Shenta has had a change in life direction and can’t be contacted for awhile...

I just ordered a couple with my next stock order. It's too big for most applications on bicycles I think. But will tale a look and see.

Definitive Tests on the Heating and Cooling of Hub Motors

Man I must try some of those venturis. Like so many of my unfinished ideas. Unfinished :) Heres the 3d laser sintered aluminium ones sketch and i were playing around with models for at the start of may last year https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170505/97a1fc7042088a508a423dc6dc5b9b90.jpg Anyone is...

Re: Mobipus Controllers

Guys I havent been on here much the last few months due to a host of reasons. I also spend too much time on ES facebook! Glad to see the feedback! Seems to be a lot of variations of motors and this is taking time to tune them all. Big thanks to Shenta for that. Love the pressure transducer idea. Doc...

Re: Aprilia Enjoy

Yeah Tony to be honest I was not wanting to go over 7s and destroy another motor pinion. Thats a warranty claim I cant afford. Taking it from 24v to 29v is fine. My 8s used to be fine. In fact a little fast for the brakes. I have a 22s ebike. Thats not what this style of bike is for. Welding cells i...

Re: Aprilia Enjoy

Lots of room inside. Could've gone 9p if needed. Anyway its time for a charge test. I detest putting plastic fuses near batteries due to once having a sudden arc making the plastic case smoulder. Wrapped them in Kapton. Will probably also wrap them in fibreglass tape. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.co...

Re: Aprilia Enjoy

Vtc5 is a high current cell.

This is a 6p battery for about 20a. A touch over 3a a cell. 18650b would be an ideal cheap cell.

Never did finish this as the kids got too big to fit the scale. Kind of in love with a full scale modern version though. Image
