Re: Sabvoton SVMC072150 controller review, variable regen *PICS*

That is very strange that you need to supply 5v on the variable regen (brown wire) once the high brake (purple wire) is connected to battery voltage. I assume chances someone with exact problem finding this post are slim as you need to go through all posts... Did you find it by experimenting or som...

Re: Sabvoton SVMC072150 controller review, variable regen *PICS*

Finally got my ebrakes to work : I had to put 5v on the variable regen (brown wire) once the high brake (purple wire) are connected to battery voltage. If I pressed the brake lever without applying voltage to the variable signal input, it would disable the throttle but no regen. I guess my previous ...

Re: Sabvoton SVMC072150 controller review, variable regen *PICS*

Thanks for the reply. My high brake doesn't do anything when I connect it to 72v.

Re: Sabvoton SVMC072150 controller review, variable regen *PICS*

If my controller has the variable regen wires (red, brown, black), does it mean that the switch brakes (72v on the purple high brake wire) won't work without a second throttle ? Do I have to press the ebrake lever and the turn the second throttle ? Could I permanently connect the red and brown wire ...

Hey gwhy! your work is awesome ! I had the same idea a few years back as well but didn't materialize it. Would you mind sharing your last updated code for this current throttle ? I'd like to build one myself and experiment with it.

Re: 18F Silent Controller 36-150V VAR.REGEN/BT Progrm/GPS-$1

Can any of you compare the throttle reponse of these controllers to a Sabvoton ? I mean, is it more touchy like a Xie Chang square wave controller or smooth like the sabvoton ? Can you control it precisely at low speed ?

Re: QSMOTOR 0.5kW-12kW BLDC Hub Motor Index

Vitto, You should use a 10mm axle flat because that it what every single ebike frame uses... just make it alot wider, like 10mm x 20mm and use larger bearings for phase wires to avoid grinding the axle. Pic of an axle thats close to it. HI Gensem, Thank you for your advise. As checked with our Engi...

Xie Chang EB718 sine wave controller

I ordered this controller back in May with the intention of building it but unfortunately my studies are keeping me very busy. Therefore, the controller is not completed yet so I've never tried it. The place I bought it from is : http://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/BLDC-bike-motor-controller/93773...

Re: XPD: open-source keywin e-bike lab replacement

Does any of you know what is the change in programming between EB2xx and EB3xx ? I mean why won't it work to program an EB3xx with the EB2xx controller type selected. Is it only software or it's more complex than that ? When Anpaza added "support for EBxx controller", did he do it simply by adding a...

Re: 2000w rated hub motor

I use a specialized nimbus flat jacket in the front and a schwalbe big apple in the rear (thanks to MadRhino). The bike is surprinsingly stable at this speed. The Tidalforce S-750 frame seems to be very robust and the central post mounted batteries (24 x 4s hardcase) give a good balance. Looking for...

I currently test the 18 mosfets controller. I will order the 12 mosfets controller too. I'll create a post for the controller after I inspected it.
So far I've been up to 82 km/h on the 100% settings and the standard "square" wave controller.

Re: 2000w rated hub motor

Pretty good actually. It has roughly the same torque as the magic pie even though it's a faster wind (7.3kv versus 9.3kv). This is probably due to the stator width (24mm vs 18mm on the magic pie).
