wait, this is a code 8?! nice find! yeah, this dual jackshaft drive is definitely a nice thing. Do you have real intentions? I think i saw such a last sprocket adapter in my basement, if you want i can give it to you.

either axial or radial offset. I chose radial, otherwise the chain would have interfered with the frame. I am stuck with 36T bycicle chain though, larger diameter would not fit togehter with a 203mm brake disc.

more sprocket offset means it is more likely that the chain interferes with the frame, thats why i kept it low

just read it. I didnt know that something like this is available on ebay, this is more or less my adapter! if such a motor gets too hot, the reason is it runs at low efficiency. You can add tons of weight for a water cooling to turn your pricey battery energy into heat a bit faster. Or just upgrade to a bigger motor. Cyclone 3000W or LR-Kit, there are quite a few options these days. There are quite a few...

i think a 3-D print with steel inlay would be nice. yeah, cycmotor will offer a rotor with wrapping soon, the final production rotor will be wrapped/equipped with endcaps as stock part. 2k rpm is almost laughable for a chain. the 42t will a) not fit and b) will eat up your battery since it will have much higher eddy and hystherisis loss. You have to spin down to get rid of stator loss. not up. still, there is not enough space. I have a tiny 38T laying around that was originally meant for the rear wheel that I could test fit as chain ring. This combined with a Hammerschmidt crank drive could may work. Maybe i find the time on sunday, shouldnt be hard to test as I can simply turn the sidesh...
