Re: Nuvinci N360 hub
What gets me the most is that this model is not user-serviceable. You don't know if/when it will go, and, once it does, it has to go back to the manufacturer because 'they know best'.

But it's not an extender. It's adjustable, but it doesn't do the same thing as that other one.spechols wrote:I tried that one and hated it. Just not safe.
Then went to a SATORI-UP2. It is a great product!

Re: Frame bag for a 36V 15Ah Ping battery
So ,one year later. Are you still happy with the hpc bag for your paratrooper? Oh yeah, it's a solid bag; it also has an extra pocket on a side for various things to be stored. But since I've been mostly commuting, the bag wouldn't really work since it's just too big for a comfortable ride to and f...

I'm sending this message to let you all know that Neptronix and gammaray have been hard at work preparing for endless-sphere to be hosted by Amazon Web Services rather than the current server provider that we have been using for the past 4 years. They are just changing platforms. I was under impres...

Re: Paratrooper Pro on MAC 1000W
Was There anything less good with the Mac? The motor itself is great. But as you gain more knowledge of motors, their specs, what they're best suited for, battery chemistry and configurations, you inevitably discover and make new things. I originally thought that I need the fastest - 6T - wound. Ac...

Folding full-sized fat bike
I've posted this on ES FB recently, but it didn't gain much traction. Therefore, I'm posing the same question/topic here. Are there any full-sized folding fat bikes (Montague style) out there? If the TapaTalk implementation is the same as for XDA, the uploaded pictures will be significantly compressed, resulting in poor quality.

I did think of that. But left it red for safety reasons to identify pos and neg wires You can still either 1) wrap the entire harness in electrical tape, or 2) undo the connectors, slide some heat shrink on, and redo the connectors. They don't make any black bullet connectors? WTF - Andersons all t...

Well, it's great that its speed is that much higher, but going 20 kph and hit a pothole isn't going to do you any good, even on a bike.ivanovlev wrote:Yep, this is geared motor. But the main thing is that its speed is twice higher than any other (solowheel, Ips, Airwheel and others ~10..12kph)

I'd hope that the true makers of Solowheel would know the difference between a motor and an engine. If this was a straight copy from their website, this doesn't give me much assurance of their product.

Any updates on the scooter test rides in NYC? I'd love to test ride a unit myself. EDIT: I've reached out to EcoReco FB fan Page, and they've responded that yes, the scooter can be test ridden through NYCE Wheels, attached is a screenshot of the NYCE Wheels EcoReco page.
