Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Anyone here that have a kickstand on your Beta? Or any advice what could fit? I only found this in the Stealth topic, and the price is too high, and with shipping extreme high (more than then the kickstand itself). https://m.ebay.com/itm/Ricochet-Off-Road-Chrome-Moly-Steel-Clamp-On-Kick-Stand-Honda...

Magura adaptor - what's wrong?

So, I am trying to fit Magura MT5e brakes http://www.magura.com/en/components/bike/speedemobilityseries/productdetailpage/?p=2594 to a USD-6 fork with post mounts. Rotor is a Magura Storm HC 203mm http://www.jensonusa.com/Magura-Storm-HC-Rotor. The adaptor I got is a Magura QM26 7" PM Front to PM 20...

Re: Tesla crash Mountain View California

So was the Tesla Autopilot trying to put the car in-between the two white lines? Mountain view crash site.JPG very good question... it's also interesting that the crash barrier appears to have been longer previously, or at least there was something in the road before the barrier position (8 repairs...

“ Schwalbe’s Airless System consists of a 40-622 sized tyre, an Airless tube of white thermoplastic polyurethane and a blue Airless ring. This ring ensures compatibility of the system with different rim sizes. The system is suitable for rims with a rim width of 19 to 21 millimeters. “

Re: Tesla crash Mountain View California

for those that are interested in where the accident actually took place: open the link, click on the street image in top left corner, rotate until you can see the "This ramp will be closed" orange sign (not relevant in this case). The ramp, and barrier, can be seen - the ramp is from the EV lane on ...

thanks Rix / Ian!
Ian, very clever to fit the BBSHD onto the Alpha - I am always impressed with the BBSHD, there is one on my wife's bike, and it shines when the going gets tough uphill.

Tesla crash Mountain View California

A Model X crashed and caught fire locally on the highway here yesterday. Unfortunately, the driver died. https://patch.com/california/mountainview/fiery-crash-blocks-highway-101-mountain-view On the tv news last night, it was said that police wouldn't allow the car to be moved until Tesla engineers ...

so, started on the build, at long last! For reference, the Beta frame has a LR kit, as per this thread https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=89282 the 18f powervelocity controller looks good on the access hatch - and I really like the blue contrast of the vinyl wrap, with Hyena's c...

Re: Resetting the bms

What specifically about the BMS is not doing what you expect? well, after you raised the alarm about the groups, I went down to check the "groups" - and managed to create a spark on the bms where I thought I should measure. I now have two blackened sections on the bms, and the charge point is back ...

Re: Resetting the bms

thanks all, I appreciate the concern. When I opened the battery (22s6p), the starting voltage was 70v. I am not sure exactly how to measure groups - I measured each individual battery. I trickle charged bypassing the BMS from 70v to 75v, then via the BMS up to 84v. I have stored it outside for now, ...

Re: Resetting the bms

so, I got around to sorting this out - had to wait for a cycle satiator to arrive, which was set to trickle charge at 1 amp. pulled the battery apart, and bypassed the BMS - as can be seen in the first picture. Charged the battery up slowly to 75v, then tried charging via the charge wires - and it w...

Re: Stealth & quick-ish e-bike for short commute, opinions

this is what a Luna mini looks like on a 29er cyclocross - I am not recommending a cyclocross over a FS mountain bike, but the mini has worked for me at around 12 miles max (I do a fair bit of pedaling, but I am also a lot bigger than you). Resetting the bms

I haven't ridden one of the bikes for a couple of months (travelling and winter), and the battery is now dead. Connecting the charger to the charge wires does nothing - the charger doesn't switch on. I also connected the charger to the discharge wires for about 10 minutes, hoping to charge it enough...
