Re: 0-60v 1000W power supply - forget meanwell

I emailed them to ask a question and here is the reply I got.
No good for north america unless using 220V

Dear Sir,

Our CPS-8412 and CPS-6017 only work at the input voltage 180Vac-264Vac,
can you confirm it can operate in Canada as i known the AC voltage of Canada is 110V.

Best Regards

Re: Charging 12S lipo

Well I had the Thunder 1220 and it blew after 1 year of charging at max 6 amps. THen I got a Hyperion EOS1420i and that blew after less than 1 year. these chargers do not like max output for prolonged periods of time. Now I have a Thunder Power 1430C and it really sucks that it is rated to 1000W or ...

Charging 12S lipo

Hi guys, Sorry for asking what has been asked probably many times but I'm all confused  My ebike has 12S 3P 5000mha pack. I paralleled all my balance leads from each 6S 3P into 1 and my 2x 6S 3P are connected in series. I use a 12S capable charger so I just need to plug my 2 main battery leads...

355 wh for 130$ looks promissing

Just saw these new lines of hi capacity low discharge batts at hobby king. Still 10c discharge should be more than enough unless you are Matt shumacker, Dr bass, liveforphisics just to name a few. Does anyone have any feedback on these? They have 4 and 6 s packs of 6, 8, 10, 12 and 16 ah http://www....

Crazy reliability of MAC 7T from 2012

Hi guys, I just wanted to share how impressed I am with my MAC 7T. It has about 10 000Km and for the last 5000 it made a slightly louder sound. Man I peak at 2500-2600w on that thing with a 12S Lipo and 40 amp controler. I wanted to inspect it anyway so taking it apart, I realized that the planetary...

Re: Smoking 2 chargers in 2 months?? Someone help??

Hey dnmun, Would you happen to know where I could have those repaired in Canada? I spoke to a few peoples and they said that if they do not know if the PWM is acting up or one of the caps lost its values, we could change all the fets and it could do the same thing again. Their is no apparent damage ...

Re: Smoking 2 chargers in 2 months?? Someone help??

I need RC chargers for my RC airplanes. I have a few 6S 5000mha batteries that I sometimes need to charge in a hurry. I know its off topic but my latest is an 80' wingspan running a 12S 5000mha setup that develops over 3000W I already had RC chargers when I built my 1st e-bike so it just made sense ...

Hi guys, I have been charging lipos for 8 years now. Except 3 years ago I started charging 12S 15ah packs from a Thunder 1220 charger. This was a 300W 14S capable charger. Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Just came back from a 20km ride. I had to turn down the power gain to 30 to remove the jerkiness. Is this normal? I really prefer this to the pass thru throttle though . One thing I would like to tweek is that I find it difficult to give just a little bit of throttle. Even if I apply only a tiny bit...

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Previously, I was testing on my bike stand... OK so I put my throttle out V at 1.3 and the motor starts spinning at around 1.45V so I have a small dead zone. So still in Pass thru > Works fine. With the bike on the ground and immobilized, I set the CA to Current throttle and Just after leaving the s...

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Ok so thanks guys for all the help in the past but I'm afraid I still need some. The main reason I bought a CA which happens to be a V3 was for power or current throttle. I'm running a MAC 7T on 12S lipo with a 40 amp infineon controller on a 26 inch wheel. This setup peaks at 45amps and about 2500 ...

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Hey fellas, Last time I tried the CA V3 was in December. I just ran some tests by hooking the green wire from the CA to the throttle input of the controller instead of directly to the 6 pin controller connector. Now the motor does not turn? Is it possible that I need to re-program the CA since I did...
