Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

After market, why would surron make that kind of stuff =)

With the help from Madin it looks like the next season for Light Bee will be very quiet!
I will start offering these quite soon. Dont ask questions yet, full disclosure will be made once we fully test this kit out!

How many Amps did you see during peaks?
Here is a battery case extender with a new hatch. The pack is like 22s10p
Allex. Is this extension available. I'm going to build a new pack and this would be perfect.
They are still working on the hatch.

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I have another pack (10s8p) out of the famous sony us18650v3 for my bbs01 bike and after 4years and 20000km the drift was 0.002V..... i was impressed. This, if you are nice to them they will be nice to you back. Always use the cells under their recommended maximum power drain and you will be fine f...

One thing I noticed is that it seems that the BMS drains the 1st cell in each group.
If this happens then your BMS is prolly faulty.

what do you mean with low end trq delay?
His question is actually valid. Many controllers dont give you full power unless the motor start spinning at a certain speed. This was one of the negative aspects on newer Adaptto firmwares.

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

No luck with the rear fender  , the fender failed on its first ride. It wasn't my bracket, it was the aluminum bracket on the fender that slowly cracked. While it worked it was really nice being able to ride over anything and get almost no mud thrown up all over your back. I would say it stopp...

I've spent +10 years riding cross country off road enduro and some trials. Bro... and yet you tell us that a DIY middrive MTB would be much better than a Sur. I can tell you it is not. The riding and handling is a joke compared to the Sur. Sure, you will have more power - but strait lines is probab...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Just got 60 tooth sprocket from lunacycle. I would not put this low quality part on my bike. Very disappointing... Jist look at the stock sprocket to understand what surface roughness you should see on aftermarket sprockets. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181221/4637ca4b698a85a3cf34a5c5853d164d...

I would look at this in 24F version. https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75494 Same thinking as adaptto with charging and bms but much more refined and FOC control. Great support too, very dedicated and have his own telegram channel for users with problems/questions. Also own wiki...

Yup, Think I saw 87km/h at 95% charge(73km/h on square wave). Considering its only a 16s system, the result is impressive.

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

You guys get your x-controllers/bikes with or without warranty? wheelie, it is very easy on the old controller and on the new it is even easier. You dont even have to pull the handlebars. But there is a catch - you can only do power wheelie, from crawling speed. Once you go faster than walking speed...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Keep in mind that old stealth batteries are LifePO chem. Those stays at 3,2V per cell almost during whole discharge - 77V li-ion cells goes down in voltage while in use so it could be as low as 3V, at 20s its 60V so much lower top speed. But they are also higher at full charge at 4,2V per cell, that...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Everything is relative, but for a person who are used to a hub motor will react to the noise from mid drives for sure. Even bbs02 is loud in comparison. But of course - surron, lmx, kubergs are even louder. The guys used riding pit bikes think it is dead silent. You cant make the metal chain silent ...

Not all mid drives are loud, don't throw us all in this category because of a Sur-ron flaw

Your wrist takes time to develop throttle control. Once you achieve the wrist control, you can tackle the most gnarly stuff with perfect throttle precision while having a full grip on the bar with both hands. If you go to thumb throttle, you will be capped in performance to only ride things mellow ...

I’m running regen braking but with a ASI controller. Eric, warned (the fb group) they wouldn't have regen and removed reference to regen from ...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

36cm ×15.5 ×11.5 is the size to fit in the bomber? Em3ev said they could fit 21 s 7p with BMS. I would not go as low as 7P with any cell on the Bomber or Fighter. Even with a cell 30Q cell capable of 20A+ you are then limited to ~20AH and will be stressing the cells with every 5KW launch. That batt...

I think it will fill fit but you'll probably have to remove some...
