Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Guys, I will always recommend keeping your batteries in a place that you can afford to lose.

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

New shipping rules states that batteries must be at 30% SOC when shipped out.
My guess is all new cells(coming from the factory) holds about 3.5V before the actual assembly of the pack.

So this is what they should be at a minimum upon delivery.

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

LMX should have more power and is a better bike for the bigger riders.
But geometry of the frame could be better. I dont know how the new frame is but the old one was way less comfy than sur-ron.

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

It is not like the bike will be legal with it, but still feels better to have that mode. Are you sure? I mean who could proove that its able to give more output then 250Watt? No one. So its legal, right? I used to have this firmware.. Im gonna check my mail for that wait a sec. Oh yeah, I...

I am currently using thun which have sensor on the left side of the crank and I can say that its nothing to have. You really need both sides to respond to have a good feeling of a super human.

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

In fact, its climbing ability is on par with my old Alpha running a MXUS 4504, 18 MC wheel, with the Addaptto max E turned down to 8KW. I based this claim on a specific hill climb I had done on both bikes. Of course the Sur-Ron has a mid drive with gear reduction and primary and secondary chain dri...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Hey Hyena, Of course that is not how we answered. He didn't seem happy with the range in cold weather.... So we offered a full refund (no restocking fee) on a lightly used bike.. but of course shipping back is not included since the bike was not defective. I wont continue on the subject here becaus...

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Yup, that is the whole point with this big guy, it will be foolproof and no more fine tuning with loads of parameters, just set the speed ratio, detect halls/phase combo and you will always be running in the most efficient way.

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

Here is something interesting. What we see is the all new "Adaptto"(I don’t think that outer case is final) a creation from “Jeka” that gave us the very first MAX-e. The guy in the video is "Chupa" and makes the famous Chupapumps for the motors which are extremly popular in Russia now: https://endle...

They are custom manufactured by quigleymotorsports in AUS, cost me a fortune, around 300USD back then.
Not possible to buy today.

Could you please take more pictures of the guts inside the controller?
But it looks like they dipped everything, so we will not find the shunt that easy?

Yep, see what the legend have to say about it: http://www.ebikes.ca/learn/connectors.html#anderson-powerpoles-pp153045-series "At one point a decade ago Crystalyte switched from using the JST-SM connector for their hall signals to a metalic round 5-pin plug that was erroneously referred to as a "min...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

That's quite the rant! I kinda know how you feel, as I had a lot of similar issues with my Fighter when I first got it back in 2011/12. Stealth ended up replacing the whole frame, rear swingarm, seat sub-frame, rear wheel/motor, several batteries (one replacement, 3 repairs), and a bunch of smaller...

Merlin, Was this frame from a batch that was sold with deffect and agreement? (the only agreement that NYX actually accepted but never should have been)? I heard that they sold a small batch to someone in Europe that accepted the fact that they are deffect and paid less for but after he received th...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

It is actually 4700USD right now plus the local customers can get back 1200USD of that amount due to subsidy from the state because its an EV. So the final price at around 3500 is very good for us locals.
Shipping is around 250USD

Re: Adaptto Mini-E/Max-E Owner's Thread

I don't get it, a 15p 30Q pack can easy deliver 200Amps if built CORRECTLY. So a perfect match for the Max-e. Why make a mess and mix in lipo? But we know that 90% of ppl build em wrong INCLUDING many known manufactures. The best suggestion here is while its winter time, tear the pack and build it t...
