Looks like a 3 wire weatherproof connector. However you should probably give us pictures of yours, front back and the inside of both halves once disconnected.

Re: Questions about installing an LED voltmeter between my battery and its charger

So you are saying that even if I don't discharge very deep (only down to 20% or so), the cells will go out of balance before 20 cycles? How about discharging down to only 30%? Is there anything short of getting specialized balancing monitoring equipment that I can do to avoid doing full charges on ...

Re: choosing the right wire guage

As stated, all of the above, however, the size of wiring in your battery pack won't be any more helpful if it is bigger then the battery input wiring on your controller. If the wiring on your battery is of a larger gauge then the wiring on your controller, you will have a choke point at the controll...

Re: Questions about installing an LED voltmeter between my battery and its charger

I was planning to do a 85% to 15% discharge most of the time and do a full charge to 100% say one in 20 charges. I read about this strategy in another post about increasing life cycles. Does that sound good to keep the cells in balance? Should it be one in 10 charges or 20 is a good number or is th...

Re: Questions about installing an LED voltmeter between my battery and its charger

This is the "voltmeter" device I have at the moment: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/b4Li4atK It is much like the one I stuck in the charger I showed. I also have a bulkier ammeter coming in the mail but that one doesn't have low/high voltage alarm settings, so I'd favor my voltmeter above in day ...

Re: Questions about installing an LED voltmeter between my battery and its charger

...... Questions: 1) Can I safely do that while the battery is charging? Yes 2) Say my battery is low at 45v and the charger outputs 54.6v, what would my voltmeter display? 45? 54.6? The battery voltage (the lower of the voltages) 3) Can I safely keep it plugged in the battery charging port (with t...

Re: E-Trike School Project

Yes and no. A motor is most efficient once it is moving. However giving it a wide open throttle to keep it moving burns more watts then giving it a half throttle. Since you are building a very custom trike you may have to experiment a little to find your efficiency sweet spot. In general volts will ...

A few of footnotes: Any speed can be reduced by putting a potentiometer inline with the return voltage wire from the throttle and dial back the voltage to the desired speed you want. You can do it with a cycle analyst as well. https://www.ebikes.ca/product-info/cycle-analyst.html Ebike brakes will c...

Sorry guys, but am having trouble uploading photos... The attachment loads fine, but It wont actually post. What am I missing? Keep the file size under 512k and you will be fine. 640x480 loads well but it is really file size vs pixels. As an example a 4000 x 2248 pixel photo will load if it is 505k...

Nice looking chart. I don't see any need for a diode or resistor. Why were you thinking you needed them?
Edit: Actually you might want a diode after the 30 amp fuse before the battery as insurance.

Ah, well, your question as posted was what *voltage* the scooters were. ;) The questions you would really need answered are "how many Ah is the pack?" If the charger is 42v, that's a "36v" battery pack. (10s Li-Ion/etc)
42v at what amps. Looking for reliable information on the watt draw to calculate cost of charging. Around here it is about 18¢ per kilowatt hour. Other locations will very.
