Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Be kinda cool if you made a 18s2p pack and lay it flay while keeping the side covers off so you can look through the frame and not see anything..... it would be light and a BB mid would work but that is like buying a convertible Ferrari to gut the rear seats and turn it into a ute. MAX Ah MAX POWER

Re: Potting Batteries, Thoughts and Experiments

Fantastic work. Have you given much consideration into adapting the packs to be USB-C compatible? My guess is someone in Europe will develop 20V 100Wh pack for some sort of last mile EV that docks two in parallel. You could un-dock the modules into singe packs to charge a laptop or phone then parall...

Depends.
You would hope what ever you are buying is produced before CNY, because the first month of production after CNY is lolcastic.

Re: NCR18650GA cells - have I got what I paid for?

I'm pretty sure the Osaka Japan plant is still pumping out the 2900Mah cell.... The Japan plant and China plant are pretty different, not the same machinery or process. Japan production line is automated beyond belief, I'm pretty sure it's what the US Giga-factory is based off. The China production ...

Eric are you using UART prototcol to communicate between that Lushui 6FET controller and the APT LCD display? I belive the KT LCD/Controller achieves autoshifting while implementing UART, so should be interesting to play around and see if they are using the same protocol to achieve the AUTO gear shi...

Re: Sondors 2016 "Thin" model

It's an american consumer issue, some kinda of physiological barrier is unlocked by a low base price. Kinda like how they display the price without tax. Europeans can't buy a bike unless it has all the necessary 'upgrades' rack/fenders etc. In Germany their is a class action law suits against eBike ...

Re: How to connect BBSHD to an external controller?

Gears are made of nylon. Best way is to have one long nylon rod then machine and cut down into individual gears (that way they are decently matched) for hub motors two grades of nylon are normally used -40° to 150° and a -10° to 180°, now due to the European market being able to ride around in freez...

Shark pack is inanely difficult assemble internally, wiring management is non existent sometimes when you close the case wires might pinch or be under pressure and fail easily.

Bewo, New Crank-drive Motor

I Have a 48V 350W Bewo. It comes with a choice of chain wheels a 48T or a 44T which I chose as getting up hills is of more importance to me than top speed. I don't know if there is a graph or table showing at what rpm it is most efficient, but through my own personal experience,I would have preferre...

China is VW largest market.... You got it all wrong, the market worships a brand and respects quality. I'd say Chinese carsumer standards are highest than USA because they don't look to highly towards domestic brands and instead idealise euro bands which are really the bees knees of auto

t3sla, Is that shark available in just the case only ? ( no batteries, just the case ) What cost and also cost to ship to the U.S. ? ... in USD I like that side swipe/dismount design , it is the only one that would work on my Womens MTB bike frame. It's about half the price and quality of he dolphin. They have a new model out this year which is as good as the dolphin but less, sadly it only holds 40cells
