Re: 8s >10ah LTO lithium packs

18ah packs look good. Charging 40 pcs 4p 10s @ 5a to start. A few left over are on a single cell charger @ 10a. MVC-016F.JPG Cranking it up to 30a in a bit. 30/4 of course. Dave I tested almost 1/2 of the 18AH LTO cells you sold me. LTO 18AH cell capacity test Charged to 2.6v and discharged to 1.5v...

Re: 8s >10ah LTO lithium packs

Steve, I just charged one of the 60ah pouches. One needing viagra. I'll let you know if it works. Took 6-hrs to charge with a 10a charger. Didn't get warm. All that juice has to be somewhere. If it tests out, the 55-65ah Kokam softies will be $10 each. If they don't they're freebees on Craigslist. ...

Crush test shows Temp peaks at 70c and the lower voltage means less chance of fire.

Re: 8s >10ah LTO lithium packs

Hi inwo, who is Steve? I need to know if these LTOs work with EVs. tnx...Nick. Hi , I am Steve Each Ev has issues you need to address The BMS that supports this pack is 24s for a 55v pack. If you are not going to use a bms 75v pack would work. The amp/hrs you need is based on your draw and the dista...

They make spot weld cutters . They are used to remove a spot weld and make a good round hole. That may work for you.

No I didn't do that I want to do it outside. I work most of the weekend and will work on it next weekend. I need to bet you that I can discharge a LTO battery to 0v then charge it at a 10c with no damage or change in capacity.I bet it would take 30c but the tab would burn off! The biggest problem do...

Re: 8s >10ah LTO lithium packs

I know you sell the 10ah pack but it isn't 10 ah they are 12-13 ah. The packs I have work fine. on a 48v pack 12 ah (you call 10ah) the weight a bit little bit over 1 lb a amp/h, Chevy volt .8 lb amp/hr and the new 18650 high power cells around .6 lb a/h. The 48v 50a/hr packs will come in closer to ...

Re: Samsung EV batteries Fiat BMW

I see no real advantage of this graphite anode battery over your LTO pack. It is just a little bit lighter than LTO but not by much and none of the advantages that LTO offers.

Re: Samsung EV batteries Fiat BMW

As you already know If you charge 5.1kw in the pack assuming you started at cutoff you will never get 5.6kw. You may have wires and shunts that are making your reading seem 9% off. Did you verify your test equipment like the shunt and any voltage drops on wires? Best of luck with your new batteries!

Re: advise for opto-coupler

I am doing low voltage cell alarm at around 1.7vdc per cell. I use LTO cells that you can charge very quick. I will be charging around 18amps 48vdc. Worse case maybe 1.5 hr with a 25 a/hr pack. A well top balanced pack will not have a problem going over voltage on a cell on the tests I have done, bu...

Re: Kreisel - Water Cooled Battery Packs

You may want to look into LTO batteries. They charge in 8 min. Just remember that is a 50 amp power supply for a 10 amp/hr battery. A 10 amp supply charges 10 amp/hr battery in one hour and they really don't generate much heat. If you need more information or planning to buy, we have a member of the...

Re: 8s >10ah LTO lithium packs

I like the 10 ah LTO he sells. I run a cargo bike so a few extra pounds isn't a issue. I can charge a 10ah pack at 10 amps and the cells will not heatup and it comes out of current limit much closer to a full charge than other lithium batteries I have used. Converting to LTO now.

Re: New Chargery BMS model

Ebikes use 10ah batteries and bigger. Very few use a $250 bms on a 5ah-10ah pack. This would be a great fit for the 20-40 ah batteries. This bms is mounted outside the battery pack with connectors, so you can just unplug the bms for the winter with no current draw.

They used a wide band O2 sensor to set AF ratio. I made a meter from that sensor and it works great.

One of the non western medical treatment is St Johns wort and/or seeping oat straw in a tea. I don't think AW wants to use it anyway, so I will leave it at that.

You cannot afford to loose that job! I know you have the strength to pull this off! I agree work is key. Sitting around thinking about things will only make things worse. You work at a place with people that have pets. Someone may have a place to rent that may let you have a pet. If you are not at ...

Bargh. I can add myself to the list of idiots. Not checking there work was bad, but I just blew up the second bms. Shorted the charger wires on my final checks. It is not overpriced at all you can never selfbuild something like BIONX. The BIONX like PAS is now being sold by others. If you don't need PAS the price difference is huge. The bike shop said over $2000 plus installation and my kit was $550 for a 500w motor. I think the CA and PAS kit is around $3...

I don't know how you will recover the money. I have seen good intentions go sour on projects like this. I hate to say it I never seen the money get recovered. I have been burned on deals but fortunately very little money was involved. Wish you the best of luck.

You mean your controller is getting warm not your motor? If you motor is getting warm you may have something rubbing , bad bearing , brake hanging up. I run 500w motor an it never gets warm running a cargo bike. It sounds like your drawing lots of current and running into the current limit. This may...
