Re: Help troubleshoot ebikeling waterproof motor - no worky

Waterproof connectors are known for making connection difficult. The small ones for throttle, 2 brake levers , and PAS each have two halves that plug together. Take them apart and inspect that the pins are straight , lining up with holes that they go into. When you push them together, notice that th...

Re: Help troubleshoot ebikeling waterproof motor - no worky

I guess the link to the Eneco manual implies that he has the S830 display. This is the Ebikeling S830 manual : https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0144/7143/0208/files/Ebikeling_Lcd_S830_User_Manual.pdf?5815502100822214133 Changing P09 - Zero / Non-zero Start can cause no throttle or PAS described. It...

Re: EBikeling 48v 1200w Rear Direct Drive Hub questions

Ebikeling LCD S830 Manual Control Panel User Manual does not list a parameter P11 . Ebikeling email reply to me " P11 is for PAS sensitivity. You can make your pedal assist sensor high or less sensitive through that option." I had P11 set at 24 ( the highest choice) thinking that equated to max amps...

Re: New Policy Re;E-Bikes in USA National Parks

So the 30 day directive to post the new rules is near. Here it comes : https://www.nps.gov/articles/ebikes-prohibited.htm?fbclid=IwAR33nGUIBLgKSESihNevKxOfnXFtCvgoul2zpABR3Ggi1Wkk0jFWwqe1-uk . I just converted a DIY E-Bike to Class - 1 to comply locally. I don't know what is different about PAS in c...

Re: New Policy Re;E-Bikes in USA National Parks

So where I live the National Park is Gateway. They have some liberal policies , for example the only nude bathing beach in the state. This spring I went to the Ranger Station with my handicap disabled credentials to plea my case for using my E-Bike in accordance with the Americans With Disabilities ...

Re: E-Bikekit control conversion help

Yes, I agree. Trying to avoid the cut and splice, but will do so if need be. As a side note : I recently received the Ebikeling 36V 500W 26" geared rear kit. That control system does work well with the E-Bikekit, plug and play using all Ebikeling components. This bike does not have PAS. When their L...

E-Bikekit control conversion help

I purchased an E-Bikekit ( USA ) DD hub kit the first year that they switched to waterproof connector cables and a display. Known as the kit with the 1 to 4 cable. I have been satisfied with this kit, no problems. The display is basic, with no ability to select parameters for Maximum speed , regen ,...

Re: Stubborn freewheel

You need more leverage. As in, slide a long pipe over the breaker bar. Slow steady applied force, so the tool does not tilt and slip.

Another possibility is Air-Fom inserts, that have yet to be on the market. They claim to have developed an E-MTB product. https://air-fom.com/airless-bicycle-tire-solution/
