Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Does anyone find the stock sur-ron handlebar doesn't feel right when holding it? It seems it puts your wrists in an odd position or something. I'm not talking about the low height. The reason I notice this is that I was using a 3" aftermarket deity handlebar and that felt very good. Then I put back...

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

Very nice build Adam, with CD's battery build, that machine has tons of battery capacity and range anxiety is practically non existent. Are their any other Beta builds with that much battery in them? icherouveim got be the only other Beta with a similar battery. @CD, great work brother, :bigthumb: :...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

not worth. go for 58T and install bigger rear tire. For offroad best choice. I agree with this, if one is putting a larger/taller tire on, the 58T would be better.. That being said, I ran a 48T, 52T, 55T and a 58T on my SurRon at a body weight of 250 pounds. The 55T took me up every hill the 58T di...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Getting ready to buy a new rear sprocket. Is the 52T still the one to get or is there a new contender? Has anyone tried the cross reference the dimensions of the Sur-ron sprocket with a dirt bike sprocket like PD or JT? If your riding weight is under 220 pounds, the 52T is the best gear option. Ove...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

And you dont want 5403 unless you use it for high speed cruising. Doing some light offroad then 5404 is better - less heat, more efficient, you should also have better acc from dead stop on that one. So true :bolt: @Rix - Just for my understanding, are you saying that some bombers were sold with a ...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Check a few settings in your DC1 1. Set the correct tire circumference. It affects th speed reading. 2. Check you don't have a speed limit set. Look in set limits. Set it as high as it will go. Nice paint job. :thumb: Damn dude, you are still around. Thats awesome. Haven't heard from you in years o...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

An 18x1.85" MC rim running a 3.5 wide tire will have a slightly larger diameter than a 19x1.40" MC rim running a 2.75 wide tire. You dont want this, a 21MC rim and tire combo would be better and if your geometry is a little too slack, you can drop the fork tubes a little in the triple clamps to off ...

Thanks for getting back to me Rick... I honestly dont know how fast it topped out before I rebuilt it. Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Adding to what Natas said, an 18 MC rim, even if its a 1.85 x 18 is rim, is way bigger than the standard 1.4 or 1.6 wide 19 inch rims in terms of weight. 18x19 Bomber.jpg In this picture of Bomber 143, I have an 18 x 1.85 rim on the rear with a 19x1.4 rim up front. I am running a 2.75-19 SR241 shink...

East coast rules.

Basically ride anywhere no one cares. Blank stares or ignored most of the time.
Hummm, here in West cost of Tuscany I would say also pedaling no more than 30 mph nobody care of you.
Is it ok at any speed for you?
Same here in Nevada and California and Idaho.

Thanks for that rix I can pull very long wheelies on a normal bicycle and on an offroad motorbike, so the technique is there. Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Part of the reason I turned my ca back down to 60 amp is because it would wheelie a little too easy on 65 amp. I thought I had it almost straight up a couple of times, but my son said it looked more like 1/2 an inch. I found that with the seat post raised up, from start, if I whacked the throttle, ...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

I want wheelies like the stealth bomber, 20kw u said?? 😮 But the bomber only has 5.2kw or 5.3kw? Kw refers to power right? Not torque? And for wheelies, torque is king? Now I’m confused 😬. You are correct, torque is king. The later Bombers put around 6.3kw. As far as wheelies go, I can get the fron...
