Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

I remade the rear bracket for my custom under-the-seat battery pack. I used a 1/2" x 1/8" steel bar that I filed and bent into a "U" to fit into the back end of the seat frame. It's pretty much a press fit, but I put in a couple of cotter pins to hold it in place anyway. It's MU...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Luckily I had another rim, and this time screw the micrometers. I really liked using a truing stand this time, it was a lot easier then building the wheel on the bike. In just a few hours I was done. I had to drill all the holes out to fit 10g spokes. This time I didn't over tighten any of the spok...

I've been making progress on my first Beta build, which will be my new commuter to replace a BBSHD conversion. I chopped up the side plates similar to the frame, powercoated them black, and added 0.5mm BA stainless accents behind them. Just finished lacing the leaf 1500w so I threw it under before ...

If you Wanna reach ~70km you are allready at the "sweet spot" As you said. Stock battery lasts around 40km. 1800wh : 40 = 45wh/km 3250wh : 45wh = 72km That fits exactly real world experience. I made this batteries also with 35E cells. In theory you have ~3.6kwh with same weight of the vtc...

3.1 "is too wide for my frame :( Do you know any good 19" tires with a real width of 2.75" Go with the Vee Rubber VRM-021 2.75-19, its actually about 2.70" wide and a full pound lighter. https://www.bikebandit.com/tires-tubes/motorcycle-tires/vee-rubber-vrm-021-trials-tire/p/43168
