Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

While out riding today, I discovered the Light Bee has a wicked launch mode  If you put it in Sport Mode, hold the brake, give full throttle, then release the brake, it does a full current launch that made me do an unintentional wheelie. It takes off way harder than the normal throttle ram...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Do we have any Sur Rons in Perth. No sure if the stock chainring will handle Perth sand or if the motor will over heat. Hey Rod, I can tell you the stock gearing does handle semi soft sand with little drama with my heavy weight. If the sand is really soft and deep, no go though. That said, the 58T ...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

So no $h!t, there I was, driving home from work today about 1640 aka 4:40PM on I80 east of a mustang ranch turn off east of Reno when I passed a truck, maybe a Dodge Ram, pulling a Travel/possible Toy Hauler trailer with 2 SUR-RON bikes in the truck bed. Hey Kim!? was this you? Certainly some Lucky...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Been messing around with it... wiggling through wires coming out of the frame and I did get intermittent power. I could get it to stay on without any movement, but as soon as I moved, it went out again. Must be a loose connection in the bunch. Good sign I guess that it’s not the controller, but loo...

I went a standard 135mm rear axle. The rim is a 27.5. But the tyres a 2.1 inch. Anymore and it will hit the chainstay.

Re: Stealth FUTR owners builds and pics

[q Rod machined some custom brackets because the swingarm pivot is part of the BB. Rod is going to give us a break down of his build when hes satisfied with it. Excellent, thanks Rix. A Beta with bbshd would be an ideal trail bike, for me I would never do this. The Beta is to heavy and bulky for su...
