Re: Polaris Ranger EV

Hello, Chargery BMS16T if almost fine. You should ask for 600A Shunt and 600A Relay. 800A will be better. The problem that BMS16T, that balance function work on bleeding. not suitable for big capacity cells. i suggest to add active cell balancer. 3-8A. Increase voltage would not increase speed simpl...

Re: Bike Pusher

Now i need to solve some issue on the turns, that the hubwheel not be draged. About the friction between the hubmotor and the road, test results: Zero speed - only 30% power is available, more than that, the tire starting to slipping. About 2-3MPH (3-5Km/H) 50% power is available. About 10MPH (16Km/...

Re: Bike Pusher

Hello, Thanka all for sharing your thoughts and your opinions, i'm sure it would help me improve this thing. I really dont like much the friction drive, because several reasons: 1. RC motor generate lot of noice because high RPM. i like the quiet of gearless hubmotor. 2. Need some mechanics system t...

Re: DIY Project

Hi, Thanks for your advice. Theoretically, Wheel with good grip should done it pretty well, by the drawing we can see, if the front wheel cannot move, distance of the two wheels (blue lines) will generate angular strength (purple line), and when the hub motor, will start pushing, the green force wil...

Re: Another RG250 with Colossus Motor

Nice job you done here,

Why you dont add transmission? -for better acceleration and the ability to drive uphill, and most importantly, it saving a lot of battery energy.

DIY, Balance board for LiFePO4 cells, with Zener Diode

Hello, I have Battery Pack that i build with 16 cells of 15Ah, LiFePO4 (3.2V Nominal 3.65V Maximum). I dont want to use in BMS, my opinion that i waste of money. the most two important things to protect the cells, to cut off the battery when voltage too low, my Motor controller have this function. S...
