Re: 10S custom skate ESC: testers wanted!

@elkick, thanks for helping, but I don't think its a problem with virtualbox, because i get the exact same problem when running the windows version of BLDC tool. (Windows 8 on both my laptop and desktop, both I encounter the same problem)

Re: 10S custom skate ESC: testers wanted!

Hello, I purchased a VESC from Jacob quite a long time ago (1st beta run), and have lots of trouble with it, I'm at a loss what to do! Re: KV vs Gearing?

The resistance of the wire winds determine how much heat the motor produces since amount of heat produced = I^(2)R. How much power the motor can produce is determined by how much heat it can take (eg better cooling, larger size and higher quality parts such as heat resistant magnets etc.) since the ...

Re: Common high current connectors - and my opinion on them

There are hobbyking XT90 anti-spark connectors. They use a 5.6 ohm pre-charge resistor. There is another thread discussing about it here:

Re: Custom Battery Packs? INTERESTED?

Actually if a diode (say one capable of 60A as specified) is to be connected in reverse parallel configuration together with the anti-spark switch, shouldn't the switch support regen braking as well? Since it would allow current to flow in the opposite direction.
