Re: The fastest hub motor for a bicycle when moneys not an i

I had a little thought while putting new wires in my motor and im not to sure how silly or not it is yet but I was wondering would it make sense and would it be worth my while to make a small bracket with a slider on the stator so timing was adjustable between 0-25 degrees? or even take it one step ...

I did make them a little larger I am really aiming just for some air circulation while keeping the strength of the side covers. (lots of room for more holes if needed).

Hi a silly idea I had was to replace the magnets altogether with electromagnets and then you would have a constantly variable Kv motor so you could essentially dial in the efficiency and speed.

Straight out baby oil (mineral oil) from the supermarket you can just fill a fish tank for your pc no mods needed so a bike controller im guessing the same

Ps you could also submerge a cpu fan below the controller to swirl the mineral oil they run well submerged as long as they are good quality.

Re: Can an oil cooled controller take to-220s to 75a per fet

A cpu water block and radiator would get rid of heat and them self don't use much extra energy like here

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RcKiEUd2 ... re=related

and can be quiet small and compact that's what I will use for my controller.
