Re: Recording HD 1080p video sports

Yes I have both Gopro and video glasses, and the video glasses suck for biking because of all the items mentioned above - narrow field of view - mostly filming the footpath in front of you - excessive wind noise Gopro is better for bike recording I reckon, mainly due to wide angle. The sunglasses ar...

Re: Frockfest

It sounds like this track is all good and fun but if we're going to get some serious organised ebike racing happening then a proper kart (or other) track is going to need to be sorted out. Still looking forward to any pics/vids though! Yeah interesting! And funny just a few days ago I was also thin...

I thought it was Sunday the 28th I dont mind 27th, but we need to all be there on the same day preferably Not quite at the stage yet where FF runs an entire weekend ;-) Which day are we racing? Going back a few pages discussion was 28th However I just checked a few forecast websites, and Saturday 27...

Sorry to hear about the stackerooni FT Take it easy And time to get a new helmet! Very nice tent/bike photo, has a great feel As for the rest of you Motor Frockers... If FT is MIA 4 FF the playing field for 2 wheelers is somewhat levelled... although T3sla's build is looking kinda grunty Lets hope w...

Did a few hot laps, 48 seconds according to Strava... It is now listed as a public 'segment' so if others ride it you all go into the leader board. Awesome Andy! I am installing the Strava app on my phone now, to check this out. And for everyone else, here's the app links to install on your flavour...

A 20 incher with 3.0 x Duro? I for one am impressed!

Guess the claims are true then...

Re: Frockfest

an upright bike with the acceleration of Deathbike4 might compensate enough on the straight... Yeah that's the winning strategy in a nutshell really. If you had the luxury of creating the ideal frockfest bike, you would create something with ultra acceleration and mega brakes, so you can decelerate...

Re: Frockfest

John's in trouble if Alan turns up. The sheer physics of an upright bike dictate that a recumbent has it sorted on that track. Yes I must admit I was looking at electric recumbents on youtube last night just out of admiration for Alan's impressive drifting maneuvers However what if John welds the f...

Re: Frockfest

In my opinion the track has devious charm but all up is ultra chunky and quite unforgiving if you fall off your bike. After coming home I noticed I have a second broken spoke, also if any one goes back to the track and finds a greyish bike lock chain it's mine, I think it fell off my bike on the qu...

Maybe a mt.dandenong motor cook off. Heh, yep going up some long steep Mt Dandenong fire trails could cook a motor perhaps. I remember years ago riding some fire trails on non-ebike mountain bike, and all was fine going in one direction mostly downhill, and to complete the circuit and get back to w...
