As i recall, the research suggested that anthropogenic CO2 accounted for 16 ppm of the total atmospheric 400+ ppm.
the rest is from magic fairy dust?

There is no proven linkage between the measured increase in atmospheric CO2 and Fossil Fuel use.

Re: Wind and Solar vs Coal, Gasoline, Nuclear

Do the revenues from Carbon taxes enter into a general tax fund or are they earmarked for special uses such as incentives for private investment in the clean energy transition? Hard to predict. Political will seems to be to lower the electricity price and to give money for energyefficiency improvem...

Re: Wind and Solar vs Coal, Gasoline, Nuclear

The industry in Germany is kept running by 50% of RE. The other is 50% of nuclear and fossil fuels. NO ..it is not. Industry cannot be kept running when at times the available RE supply is less than 5% of the demand. Very obviously it does exactly that. And just in case if you wonder: Average elect...

Nice try Jack, ( terrible grammar tho’) .. but we are not talking about imagination, we are talking about FACTS of what is actually happening currently ....not in 20 years time! 2=3 Gw of wind and Solar does not keep Germany’s industries running. It needs the backup of the Coal, gas , and Nuclear p...

China and renewable energy generation. There is no doubt China has huge RE power generation capacity, especially hydro (300+ GW), with multiple large dam systems (the 3 Gorges dam alone has more generation capacity than Australias total power generation from all sources !) . Re: Wind and Solar vs Coal, Gasoline, Nuclear

This is a very common blindspot. Home electricity use is only 20-30% of a Northern country's ELECTRICITY use. And electricity is only 20-30% of total primary energy use. Just because your home electricity is self sufficient, you have only reduced your share of energy from the social total by 10%. S...

But you can't do that in Florida, where you need massive cooling units, and in the Northern states you need massive heating systems. So solar is something to be used as an add on to the existing power grid. Once the politics get into this, that's where things go off the rails. In many places, you a...

VTC6 is definitely NMC, I don't think the LG cells are NCA either. There is way to much wrong information around, so it is very difficult to know. Actually VTC-6 is a NCA cell, while HG2 is (seems to be) a 811 NMC cell, both in combination with a C+Si anode, as spectroscopic analysis shows: https:/...

Check out this all in one fuel-cell home energy station, forget about Elon Musk's crappy 13.5 kWh, this one can store 1.5MegaWh of electricity. That's 1500KWh. It contains a battery, electrolyzer and fuel cell all working together for a self-sufficient and customizable house energy system. It makes...
