Re: N!cos 1st ebike build

Naah! It hardly gets warm driving 40-45km/h!
I have set it to max 60A fase and 20A batt current now, but still getting to 45km/h with not too much headwind.

I almost never use more then 10Ah from the ping, so i really don't know if it is still 15Ah... :)

Re: Problem with PAS on infenion 48v30A

Could you post up a parts list for this ? and a step by step guide to building it up for Arduino newbies..never even seen the stuff apart form online talk about it. It is basically an arduino uno, few resistors and a capacitor, thats all. I do not have a schematic. I will draw something up next wee...

Re: Problem with PAS on infenion 48v30A

He ErikJan, I have 6 magnets. I enable the throttle when i see 2 pas pulses within 2 seconds. This resulted in a delay of about half a second i guess. However, later i also programmed a boost & 6kmh function for when starting from a stand-still / not pedaling. Result is i have no delay at all now. :D

Re: Problem with PAS on infenion 48v30A

It forwards the input of the throttle signal when it sees pas pulses. So it does not mather how fast i pedal, the motorspeed is set with the throttle.
This way i use pas as a sort of throttle enabler.

Re: Problem with PAS on infenion 48v30A

I also found out the PAS on the infineon controllers do not work as desired. I've also tried a speedict, that worked better, but not ideal. In the end I made a pas controller with an arduino. Simple explanation: My throttle goes first through the arduino. Only when the arduino sees PAS pulses, it wi...

Nice!

I use a Arduino myself for PAS and speedlimit and was thinking about adding a current sensor. I wil look into this!

We (coolermods) have a similar product coming out soon, that runs on the iphone/ipod. We are still working out the bugs, but have a video link to it on the product page: http://www.coolermods.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=60_67&product_id=65 --John Thats cool for the iphone people, and p...

Re: Need help for my first ebike setup! DH bike to go uphill

for the 6s lipo from HK how do you charge them if wired for 44V ? There are many ways to charge. Personally, I always balance charge at 6s with a BC-168 charger (charging through the balance taps). As a result I've set up my two bikes as follows: 1) Parallel packs first, then series them (so a 4 ba...

Re: 29er MTB build

Putting 5V on the signal line does not always work. Some controllers are protected and accept only 1-4Volt. You should check with your voltmeter between the black and green throttle wires (controller side) to see if you have a 1-4Volt while twisting the throttle. The Lyen controllers have LVC, but i...

Does any one know if this device can showAh/KM? as in AmpHours per Kilometer? Which is what I believe the CA can do or Wh etc. Can't see anything about it on the web page. Commuted now for 1200kms trouble free. :) Work in progress: http://www.nicovanbeelen.nl/ebike/etc-1.jpg I'm working on a solution for a pas sensor that just enables the throttle. It can also 'read' the brake switch. So i can enable cruise control when i apply the brake lever 4 x for a short time for...

Re: Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

Yes, you want to be able to set the length and power of the boost to tune the 6kmh start. ... will do, however as per existing speedict ebike programming space, for these parameters setup we need to remove 2 function mode, such as "Simply Cut" and "PAS to Throttle" and i think removed these function...

Re: Speedict Ebike - Anybody seen/tried this?

We where experimenting a bit with an ebike last week (no speedict!). It was a bike with PAS and we wanted to use the throttle input only for the 6kmh start. We used a potmeter and set it to 6kmh and then added a pushbutton to activate it. It was useless... Power was too low to get the bike quickly t...
