It's gorgeous! Time to give up on my GNG and order one of your frames
Let me know when you're ready to sell one, I'd love to test one of these!

Re: Qulbix Raptor 140
Is anyone considering a Raptor with a LightningRods big block motor driving the left side? (72V X 60A = 4,300W) The result would be similar to bzhwindtalkers LMX P2...(http://www.endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=61030) I am pretty tempted to do this. I think I'm nearly sold on the ...

Re: GNG, 1000W 48V BB-drive, $400
i can't see a front derailleur in your pics. I use one on every bike as chain catch...even if single speed. Never lost a chain recently.. even at several kilowatts... Only way i loose my chains is by shifting under load by accident... then they disaggregate easily. I don't need one, I run single sp...

Re: GNG, 1000W 48V BB-drive, $400
Chain drops are my nightmare too. That is when i usually break something. I recently added a chain guide near my chain rings. As that is where it drops and then wraps itself around the bolts of the chain rings on the inside, usually warping the chain and as you mentioned, sometimes pulling the dera...

Re: Friend being harassed by police.
My bike is MANUFACTURED, I just haven't received any other orders yet ;) Where does it say I can't slap a sticker on a DIY bike? I see a law where it says I have to have one: (e) bears a label that is permanently affixed by the manufacturer and appears in a conspicuous location stating, in both off...

I'd like to get a meetup going in the GTA, as I'm living in the Ajax/Pickering area right now.

Re: Friend being harassed by police.
Being legal is not an issue, if you're not drawing police attention. Legal ebikes, scooters especially, are those who are experiencing police harassment here. I am 67 and riding ebikes that are 30 times the legal power limit, yet cops never bothered me. It is not about age or performance, it is abo...

This thread seems to be where a lot of the trials discussion is happening... I haven't posted much in here lately, mostly because my kit has been incredibly reliable these last few months. Only problem I get is the odd chain drop after getting too much air. It's ugly, but it works great at 4000w :) http://i.imgur.com/AQZQT4bl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/yjzqXW3l.jpg http://i.imgu...

Re: Post with a video of a cromotor over 100 mph
This thread came at a good time, I just pulled my cromotor out of the closet and I'll be lacing it up. Sounds like 24" downhill rim + 32S are a tested & proven combo? Any recommendations for 24" rims? I was hoping to do a 34S pack but just realized the 4115 Lyen controller only goes to...

Hi Successor,
I am fairly new here and never had a chance to speak to Rick, it's always sad to hear of a great mind passing away.
I would be interested in purchasing a lot of the equipment that Rick left behind, what is the best way to contact you regarding that?

I just heard from Fat Tire Farm and they said that the 100mm Giga Pipe should fit the Salsa Mukluk. They offered to pre fit the BB to the fat bike before I purchase it to make sure it fits. I don't think I can resist this beast with a big block in it. Staying under the police radar with it is going...

Hi Chucho (and all ES members as this is my first post :) ) Im currently putting a GNG kit, bought from conhismotor, on a Trek Remedy 7. I had the same problem as Chucho so I decided to put the motor and the jackshaft inside the triangle. I had to put the motor higher than planned which means the c...

I have been using a smart with the car2go service and love how easy the car is to drive in congested city traffic. I have been thinking of getting the electric smart car for this reason. With the current $8000 rebate it's a great deal.

Has anyone "snuck" bikes into Canada before? I'm going to drive down to the US at the end of the month to pick one or two of these up, was thinking about assembling them in the parking lot, getting some snow/dirt on them with a quick ride, then driving them back with a buddy. Would I need ...
