Re: Vector Storm e-bike Frame 299€ / Parts WORLDWIDE

You should have contacted me and come to visit , I also would have showed you local riding locations. Anyway it is not the BB that is needed , it is a 73 mm wide BB threaded BSA shell on the swing arm . many people will want to put a more modern crankset on the bike. for MTB's that is 73 mm wide for...

Re: Best and Worst Ebike companies customer service

I know a Woman who worked in a bike shop for a while ( 2 of them over a several year period ) She said that Specialized has much better customer service than the other brand bikes they sold. Now this is in California , so check to see if Specialized has such a good reputation there in Europe . Note ...

For many years now I have been amazed at the stupidity of the big auto mgf's making trucks taller and ... less aerodynamic than just a couple of decades ago. ( note the Chevy 1500 trucks from 20 + years ago , much lower to the ground and better shapes than the Barn House type shapes that are being s...

Re: Vector Storm e-bike Frame 299€ / Parts WORLDWIDE

When buying a Frame to build up into either a non e-bike or an e-bike the most common components for the last few years for Mountain Bikes are ... For Most Forks , Thru Axle 15 mm by 100 mm , or 15 mm by 110 mm boost . ( Triple crown forks like the Fox 40/R.S. Boxxer /etc are 20 mm x 110 mm) For the...

Re: Vector Storm e-bike Frame 299€ / Parts WORLDWIDE

What is the head tube angle for the Typhoon ? and for the Storm ? Still no 12 mm x 142 mm thru axle option for a rear swing arm ( 73 mm wide BB ) in order to accept a 27.5 x 2.5 tire or a 29 er thru axle wheel that has a 2.5 or 2.8 inch wide tire .... Sad ! Looks like I will be missing out again thi...

Tommm, I know about the different size headtubes, I have had 3 different size head tubes on bikes that I once owned over the years. You are however forgetting about the fact that many bike MFG's , for a few years , made Enduro and Down Hill bikes with a straight head tube , and it is the one you did...

Re: Best Method for Battery Build TESLA 2170

So that is how Tesla is doing it different from DIY the e-bike world . Welding the Negative on the Top , interesting that they could pull so many amps that way . It perhaps is a way to cut down on the amount of time and materials needed to build each pack. Regarding The complete pack , what was the ...

Replacing the Fork to a Suspension Fork , and upgrading the Brakes will probably be as expensive as finding a good deal on a newer used full suspension or newer steel hard tail bike with Shimano Hydraulic Brakes included . ( note used bikes with Avid brakes need too much service on the brakes meanin...

The 4800 Frame Kit ( Motor / Swingarm / Front frame ) is the head tube 1 1/8 inches or Tapered , or 1.5 inches ?

Can a fork that is 1.5 inch straight ( 1.5 inch top and bottom ) be used on this frame ?

During the first part of the video I thought it would not work since it had 4 settings 12/24/ etc voltage settings , but thanks to his through testing he did adjust the 24 volt setting in such a way that I think it could / might work with a 7 s pack. Not what I was wanting since I have a new 4s pack...

I had a 12 fet controller on my Mac 6T conversion . up to 48 volts and 40 amps. I would get a 12 fet or bigger controller when using a Mac or a DD rear hub from now on. Right now I have a infineon Clone 36-72 volt 30 amp 9fet on my DD rear hub bike and I could really use a 12 fet 40 amp or more. Sam...

The Mac motor I had is the one in my sig . It was a 6t rear mac , screw on style freewheel of 8 speed cog by sunrace I believe . Only 45 kph ? I will remember this , If I ever go to Switzerland
( I would have to win big $$$$$ on the lotto in order to go there )
I will not ride a bike on the streets .

The Mountain Bike Riders ride faster than that !

Looks like Cops there have too much time on their hands .
