Re: A new fast and stealth cargo ebike

The problem with the Supermarche is the angle of the chain stays, the way the drive side one comes down keeps you from sliding on an aftermarket mid drive. I dunno about the original poster, but I ended up finding a good deal on a used Cetma and just this week got a Mac 8t / Phaserunner setup going...

Re: A new fast and stealth cargo ebike

What did you end up going with? I am thinking of getting a Supermarche and putting an extra BBSHD that I have on it. I'm checking on the bottom bracket width with them now. Any problems with the smaller wheels? It's just going to be for riding around my daughter and her groceries. She eats a lot! Th...

Where are you guys buying this motor these days? Mine from laebikes was laced using parts that were simply not up to snuff and I broke several spokes.

Re: "Edge" DD hubmotor, 1500W, 35mm, Al core

I am having problems getting my Cycle Analyst V3 to give me a MPH readout. I can easily get readouts for my battery usage, voltage, etc. When it comes to MPH there is never a readout when riding or a total MPH for trip length. I am using the following that I purchased from LA Ebike and Lunacycle a ...

Hello, can someone please clarify some things about this controller: 1) can the regen strength be finely customized on the app like on the 15/18 Fet controllers, I see that it says in the controller description that it has "Two stage regen with finely tuned braking force settings available", if it ...

You can always find the latest version by clicking on any controller on the website and scrolling all the way down. Here is an example: http://powervelocity.com/index.php?id_product=55&controller=product I am also working on getting it published in Google Play, so you would only need to install it ...

Hello, is the fully variable regen using a second throttle been implemented now? I will waiting for a test sample :) BR I already bought 1 controller from him and it works well. The Bluetooth is great...I was always too lazy to pull out my laptop and programming cables (too busy riding). Now I'm tr...

Re: "Edge" DD hubmotor, 1500W, 35mm, Al core

Anyone know what model temp sensor is in this motor so I can set up my CA3 correctly? No matter what I did, I could not get the temp sensor to work. I believe it: A) Doesn't have one B) Is shorted out I am going to disassemble it and put a new one in. Don't forget to read Ron's article about correc...

Re: "Edge" DD hubmotor, 1500W, 35mm, Al core

I am having a problem where the CA is not showing speed until I let off the throttle. It appears that the speed is right, but when I'm 'on' the throttle, the speed is 0. Does that sound like a short, or what? When I first got the kit, it would only do that after the controller heated up. Now it does...

Re: "Edge" DD hubmotor, 1500W, 35mm, Al core

Do you have two wires going to the temp sensor on CAV3? Try just one wire, leave the earth off, thats how it is for the Mxus 45mm motor. You have to plug it into the right pin on the CAV though, or it'll count down from 5 volts, not up from zero. Thanks for your help, Samd. Yes, I have two wires go...

I couldn't agree more, samd. Only a few years ago I was lugging around a 22lb LiFePO because I couldn't get enough of the grinning thing. Wow, I didn't know that the MXUS was so highly revered. However, I am not 20 something, I'm 50 something and I don't want 10KW, 2.5-3KW is fine by me. I have had ...
