Sorry for the late response
Go ahead skaiwerd. I'll just use a 105. You getting a 17mm to 3/4 motor adapter made by chance? I sure could use one

Re: Luna Cycle X-1 Enduro FS (Bafang M600 / Dengfu M09)

I also got a chance to ride a Spitzing M1, which is a $10,000+ German ebike. The Spitzing was way louder than the X-1 at any speed with a very noticeable gear whine. Ride and PAS function was very similar to the X-1. The Spitzing does not have a throttle, so is PAS only. Hey Fechter how was the pow...

There was a Euro one that had twin Hacker pancake motors (maybe), with a large diameter sprocket bolted to each side of the back wheel with belt drive and a big plastic circular mud guard over everything, but couldn't find an image.
Are you referring to the Aden?

Yeah 219 sprocket in 17mm is a unicorn. Had to buy a 15mm from lightning Rods and bore it out. If someone finds one let me know.

Re: QS 3000w midmotor

Really interested in these motors from qs, does anyone have any experience with the 1000 and 2000w versions? My 1000 has been really happy at 3500w, around 8:1 reduction with a 26in wheel. I don't have a temp gauge but will bump it to 5000w once installed The motor shaft is 17mm nontapered so the 3...

pad spreader? You mean a flat head screwdriver? Just kidding. Cool bike. Let's us know if you can get over 25mph on level ground, kepler mentioned it was tough. Does it have a watt meter?

the reactivity of Vasili and his colleagues to answer our questions. This is priceless. Go compare with ASI and ERT to laugh. I'm really happy with the performance of my 12F. But the combination of performance and your quick responses to all my questions is the reason I'll probably buy another..

The nucular controller has the same feature, I've been meaning to try it. Let us know how it goes. My problem is my chain keeps skipping on the motor sprocket

seems pretty happy with 8:1 reduction at 60v. I'll report more once I stop the 219 chain from constantly falling off. Currently at 3500w no problem

Re: 60 volt vs 72 volt

I progressed in a similar way. Upping the voltage is the easiest way to increase power(and top speed). Went to 72v until I melted my motor, bought bigger motor, then bigger battery, better frame, etc. So yeah go to 72v and have fun.....

Re: Do you have or plan to start an ebike business?

I'm working on a 5kw middrive offroad machine that weighs 60lb that I can pedal home when it breaks down. Most people tell me to get a dirt bike or just give me blank stares. I'm surrounded by USFS land that just opened up to class 1, but once you're accustomed to high power how can you be happy a 7...

Thanks for the kind words Eli, I'll gladly take the compliment but I was running the hubbie at 6kw, so I think we were roughly the same power? I've not noticed too many bugs in the past, but I usually have a nice layer of dust all over after my first practice lap that last the entire weekend. It's going to be hot, I usually feel like I'm melting most of the day. Bring lots of water and make sure you keep your batteries in the shade...See y...
