Re: single cell or prebuilt pack

how do you read that graph? You discharged at 29 amps? what's that green line way at the bottom? I just bought some 12c multistars. I couldn't resist the discount sale

Re: Vector bike and frame owners.

If anyone is using the DNM USD-8A reverse Forks, has anyone experienced a slight rocking motion within the lowers & stanchions. During riding on any surface that is rough, I'm getting a knocking noise coming from the front. Yeah I have a knocking noise too. I think its on the rebound over rough stu...

Re: Taking prebuilt pack out of casing to fit in smaller space?

most of the wasted space are on either end. If you just take off the end caps and keep the middle metal case you'll save a lot of space. I have 4 similar packs and that's what I did on all of them. I'm not really following what the others are suggesting, making your own pack is much more labor inten...

Re: single cell or prebuilt pack

So really about the same actual c rating as multi stars? Are the turnigys better? I'm looking for something that can handle more amps than the multistars

Re: Taking prebuilt pack out of casing to fit in smaller space?

so if its 10s5p of 18650's a good estimate would be
L 18 x 10 = 180mm
H 18 x 5 =90mm
W =65mm

the bms is already attached to the battery and the whole thing is shrink wrapped

Re: QS 3000w midmotor

Thanks for explaining ipm motors. I got interested in this motor when Valilisk mentioned it in his controller thread. I'm on the list for the 12F and I want to pair it with the QS 1000w for my next middrive build. I was thinking low volts/high amps so I would not need so much gear reduction for the ...

Re: single cell or prebuilt pack

considering the same thing myself. I might go with the single cells because then you can use copper bus bars to connect everything instead of a rat's nest of wires. Let us know which way you go and document your build and I'll try to do the same.

I've been waiting for this frame kit, sooo tempting. Does it come with Vasilis's nucular controller and display? Does it have a bms? What torque sensor are you using?

Re: Prototype High Power e-Bike Frame DIY Kit

cool frame. It looks like you could tuck a middrive up nicely. What is the geometry of the bike in that pic? How much rear travel? Is that a 26in wheel in the back? Can you fit a plus size tire?

Re: FUTR Beta with Lightning Rods Mid Drive

Thanks for your feedback. I was thinking of doing a BBHD with phaserunner as well. Have you though about a GT frame with the I-Drive? I was looking at the GT Verb, you can do a cable mod that tucks the motor up really high and their appears to be plenty of room in the triangle so you don't need to c...
