Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Is there any tires in 19" range for on road use? I'm currently using Vee Rubber VRM-308 in 2.50x19 and Shinko 241 2.75x19 works well in the rear. I used to have the Shinkos up front at a 3.25 tire in the rear, but the bike just didn't feel good and the front rubbed the fork when I'd turn or hit bum...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

I mostly agree with you Offroader. I was probably the first person to every run the SR241 on an ebike. My avatar pick from 2012 show the 3.00-17 on the rear of my Bomber. I ran 2.75 and 3.00 in both 17 and 18" wheel sizes, and they were better, hooked better, and performed better in all conditions ...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

the bike is very capable out of the box but will have limited range at higher speeds.. you will need a refuel (batt swap/charge) to match petrol bike range on the trails or commute.. surron has been hair scrambler competitive if it can finish, check youtube for that .. there are a few controller an...

Re: Sur-Ron - New Mid drive Bike

Hey there I’ve been digging deep into research about these bikes and am thinking about buying one. Just have a couple questions if anyone is willing :). Is it worth it to commute on the weekdays and enjoy this bike off-road on the weekends? Is the super moto 17” wheel kit worth the 350$? How long d...

Re: Segway vs. Sur-ron?

If the Segway version comes with a Certificate of Origin and/or Title and a legit VIN number, the difference in cost will be well worth it over Luna in the US for those looking to go street legal and insure.

No need to be racist. Like American's have never broken a contract. My comment was written in a humorous tone, so I'm sorry if you took it too much seriously, as of course there good and bad examples of companies behaviour in every country. Also I'm not really condamning what they are doing,...

Re: ERT tuned ASI BAC 4000 Sur-Ron Light Bee

As much as I enjoyed the power of the LiPOs, I wanted something a bit more clean, more range, and easily removable. The only option for someone at my skill level was to purchase a built pack. That being said, I reached out to Lite Speed Bikes to see if they could make me something. They had already ...

Re: SURRON LB: RESEARCH & DEVELOPEMENT

A drop in 72V battery is now available that doesn't require you to sacrifice your OEM one. Great for those who are running aftermarket controllers.

Well, I finally got banned from Luna's Sur Ron Owner's page. because you did what?.... Probably because I helped ERT develop their ASI kit by lending my bike. I think my contributions to that page actually helped sell more bikes overall. The majority of my posts were informative, and I did my...

Well, it's been a year (and a day) since I picked up this bike from Luna's store front down in El Segundo, California, and my bike has come a long way. spray some water on it and then pull away hard .... see if the buzzing noise stays away. if so then you can provide the edges of the belt (not the tread / teeth themselves) with a thin layer of bee wax or other natural fat without plasticizers that can damage the rubber of the belt. I tried basical...

And actually; I think I misunderstood Josh. Sounds like he recommending 19x1.85 rear rim and 21" front. How much would that alter geometry? How much heavier than the stock?
What 21" tire will clear the factory RTS fork?

Today again after 41km the battery shows 20%, this time i ride most of the time in EP mode. i need to dubbel the range :bolt: for the money you pay for a street legal EU sur-ron I think this is a expensive joke I have the same issues regarding range, so I just take my charger with me everywhere I go.

ERT tuned ASI BAC 4000 Sur-Ron Light Bee

Hey y'all, I'm starting a thread on my Sur-Ron Light Bee to give other SR owners and prospective owners an easier place to find my modifications, thoughts, and experiences owning this bike. First off, I'm located in the United States. Luna is the only authorized distributor and only offered one mode...
