Re: Looking for an alternative to 24x3.0 Duro Wildlife Leopard

The 24 X 3.0 Berm Master is not good for dirt, other than nice hard pack. On the street it does very good on a wide rim, low PSI. Eastgem in China, has a 2kg 24 X 3 street tire that I would like to try. http://www.eastgem.net/tire-24x3.html http://www.eastgem.net/images/acc-page-tire-008.jpg?crc=13...

Re: Electric Motoped - Advice Needed

I've always wanted to put one of these liquid cooled motors on my Motoped, just so that I could stuff a couple of little aluminum radiators up under the plastic shrouds like a real mx bike. http://www.goldenmotor.bike/categories/bldc-motors/ Water pump could be one of the TAG racing kart type driven...

Re: Bultaco Brinco - 39kg/2kw/60Nm/1,3kWh

I actually had good email correspondence with Bultaco about finding a US dealer. I even made a few suggestions on who they may try reaching out to as far as setting up a dealership. We went back and forth for a few months but sadly no luck. It was a while ago so I'll try and touch bases with them an...

Re: Bultaco Brinco - 39kg/2kw/60Nm/1,3kWh

Still waiting for a dealer here in the USA. There was a guy a while back advertising the Brinco on Craigslist (Florida). He seemed sincere, however I'm not one to just send someone i dont know money and then wait for a boat to arrive with the product. Then there was still the issue of getting the Bu...

Can tig welding on frame ruin controller?

I need to tack a bracket on my frame and was wondering if I should remove my controller first. Back in my road racing days i recall you always removed the Yamaha TZ ignition boxes before welding on the frame or risk destroying the ignition from the high frequency generated by the tig welder. I'll re...

Re: What's a good e bike headlight?

Ran across this light. Looks like they put a lot thought into the beam pattern at least for off road anyway. I especially like the way the mount utilizes the existing holes in the top crown. Got a message into them now to see if they offer one with a black shell and if they will ship to the US. http...
