G'day Melbourne ... very close to finishing a similar build to your badboy. Just wondering what gear ratio your running to achieve the 60 kliks. I've been aspiring to a top speed circa 50k with a 48f / 11r. I have multistar 2 x 16ah's mounted in rear panniers. 52T/11...and very hard pedaling....lol...

Nice ... Do you get much drag from the pannier?

Andrew
Didn't notice it...got it to 60kph on the velodrome. I think my own body is the biggest drag.

I own a sun-thing28 pack for a year and a half now and the battery still works incredibly well. I'd say it still holds about 18ah (originally 48v 20ah)eventhough i havent tested it yet... And i'm usually pushing full throttle, i don't use to pedal. But well, shit happens. Even the most realiable su...

Damn you....that was plan project.:) Was it easy getting bbs02 on to the cannondale bb30 ? Yeah it was. Its actually not the tightest fit. I used some fibreglass tape around the shaft of the BBS02 to make it a more snug :) The Bad Boys are very solid though. One of the best frames i've seen on this...

That's with 48T Chainring, 11T Rear Sprocket & 26" Diameter Wheels, and riding as aerodynamically as possible. I got 350W 36V with 53T/11T 700c... I can get 50Kph but it alot of...

Re: Easy Motion Neo - Upgrading the hub motor?

Rather than a complete 48v battery, you can add a 3-cell booster battery in one of those tool-bags. A couple of guys have done it on the UK pedelecs forum on other bikes if you want to do a search there for "booster battery" I don't think is worth it.. running at 48v chew up the battery very quickl...
