Did you guys end up passing the motor test? If so explain what you did, I too am having the same problem, I’m getting a hall reading of between 1-6 and have checked the output reading on the halls with a multimeter they seem to behave correctly, switching between 0-5V I’m lost at the moment and don’...

Ok got the controller paired to my phone via the Bluetooth module, the next step is to do a hall test, which setting should I change I’m testing it at the moment on 15amp and it just cog there for ever help needed

So the black on the high speed low speed dongle needs to be connected directly to the negative on the 72v battery?
If anyone has their high speed low speed connected and working please let me know how you did it

Question regarding the elock and the low speed high speed switch, what voltage range for the elock to activate and does the speed switch require battery ground to function?

Just go for it and learn as you go, get some dead cells from some where (old laptops or power tools) and practice on them, my two cents is this get a really hot soldering iron 300w one from eBay or aliexpress and use that don’t spotweld unless you have a really good one, spotwelding is a good idea b...

The problem with hobbyking battery packs is they are 1p stacks, paralleling them with other stacks is why they fail

Some forums claim the Lico chemistry allows 12% increase in power and claim max charge of 4.35v, my seller told me that 4.2v is the max for the type of cell I purchased from him, and about not using the max out of the cell, I don’t know about that dude, there is another guy doing what I did only on ...

These things are works of art dude good job, my only thing is why the hell would you do all that work only to run lipos with a 5c rating when there are single cells out there with 50c rating?

I made my own lipo battery pack from AliExpress single cell lipos 3p 12s with a powerful well made bms and the whole setup works great, I’ve made a 18650 pack for an ebike a while back 10p 22s works well don’t get me wrong but the lipo pack is best still early days so I can’t say about its long term...

Am I to surmise that storing lipos at anything below 4.2 is fine? how goes the cycle tests so far? I've also read and tested (not at any great lengths yet) that if you compress lipos they work better as the partials are forced closer to each other

Thanks Mike that's exactly what I needed to read, umm quick question, Why don't you tap your holes instead of using nuts, also was thinking about getting an IGH, what are your thoughts on IGH with your drives?

Alec man are you at the race tracks or something why would you need 150 battery amps, these controllers are tuff man so long as they have some form of cooling i dont see why they couldn't pull 150 battery amps i have a 36 fet 200 amp controller and have run it at as such but was way to fast for me, ...

The green compound the copper is in cased in looks like it, would no doubt, be detrimental to the over all cooling process, claims of 6k continuous, has anyone got one of these can report findings?
