Re: bluetooth BMS?

I'd need one for 20S pack, around 100A, just to be safe, because I actually don't plan to go with more than 60A from battery. Bluetooth option required, or some nice color LCD display...

Do you guys have some best buy suggestion?

Re: Speed limiter for my bike...

Security system key switches are a good source for this type of switch since they generally need to allow the key to be removed in both positions and the exterior ones are already built to be exposed to the elements. Try a search of eBay for 'Security Key Switch' . Or UK eBay for 'Security Key Swit...

Re: Speed limiter for my bike...

While it may be possible to find something like that, it might be a problem to power it. Most of them I've seen use a mechanical relay, which takes a bit of power. Your controller has 5v readily available but very limited current. Search for "Electronic password lock" or "Electronic ebike lock" Som...

Re: Speed limiter for my bike...

what I would like the most is something with PIN protected switch. when I enter PIN a "lock" it and when I enter PIN again I "unlock" it. solution without keys, just PIN. it's strange for me that one can find home door lock which is PIN protected and I can't find just simple PIN protected switch. ma...

Re: Speed limiter for my bike...

yep! that could be good for that purpose, only thing I have to know is if it's possible to take out key after I lock it. I have smart BMS with bluetooth option but I can't restrict speed with it, only thing I can do is regulation of charging and discharging cells voltage. some Chinese android app is...

Speed limiter for my bike...

Hi guys! Could you please be so kind and help me with speed limiter. The thing is that my older son (16 years old) would like to use my bike from time to time but it is, at least in my opinion, too fast for him, atm, top speed is around 60 kph. I'd like to limit it to desired top speed, let's say, 4...

Re: Something is wrong here, dead battery...

OK, if I accidentally find out that one (or more) of my cells is/are under voltage, may I pass BMS for some time to recharge it? Below are pictures of my BMS and connections. Could you please help me and tell what to (re)connect and where? Thank you very much in advance. https://s26.postimg.org/qpgn...

Re: Something is wrong here, dead battery...

One thing I didn't mention is that initial voltage (when I connected charger for the first time) was around 72. In few minutes it went to what you can see on the picture above.

Maybe I should leave it a little bit longer to charge?

Re: Something is wrong here, dead battery...

No, I didn't, unfortunately. I can still cancel that order, no problem for that.

Is it possible that some of cells dropped so much after only two seconds before all stopped?

Re: Something is wrong here, dead battery...

Charger is 73V voltage, it can be seen on my instrument when ignition is ON and it is right voltage for my battery pack. Rear wheel rotates I can turn on the lights, horn, everything but only while charger is connected. I ordered new BMS and will try to connect it. There is no burn signs on my BMS, ...
