Re: Cyclone now have a 20kw kit!?

i have this frame and the rear swing arm is 2.7kg and the triangle dropouts are larger than some motorcycles. it also has bolt holes on the dropouts that support scooter torque arm plates that come with china hub motors. the motor is 8kw continous 20kw peak. frame is avaiiblle in both 150mm and 180m...

Re: Steel Ebike Frame EASTGEM ~600$

i personally think the weight of those carbon swing arms are a bit light for a heavy hub motor rear wheel and maybe not strong enough with thin drop outs and it might break. THe swing carbon swing arm is 980 grams on the gross frame and the dropouts are very thin at the end . thats not much more hea...

Re: Who has bought EM3EV's bicycle frames and how do you lik

Received my frame yesterday from EM3EV. Early birthday present :) Overall, very impressed, quality, packaging, attention to detail, etc. Except for one thing: one of pivots, which connects swing arm to the frame is slightly bent in, and now won't fit in. I've tried filing off paint on connecting su...

the spot welding on these frames does not look very strong on the inside as it is not continuously welded all the the way along by the looks of it on the photo.

Re: Kuberg Free Rider

Are standard motor cycle/dirt bike/ go karts sprockets bolt circle diametre compatible with this bikes rear wheel hub and motor shaft front sprocket when they require replacing when teeth become worn? If not i would be concerned that spare sprockets might not be availible to buy in 5-10 years

Re: new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

Problem i have found with the cyclone motor is the bottom bracket shell mount just doesn't work well or grip the motor mount plate tightly enough and it slips as the force of the motor is so powerful and under load it pulls the motor upwards into the frame downtube. it left a dent mark on my frame ...

100Amp is too much for 20Ah LiFePO4 battery, battery life will be short. 60A is max safe current. what is the maximum safe continuous and peak current you would reccomend on this frames dropouts and swing arms in regards to the gyroscopic motor forces imposed on the drop outs and the flexing on the...

Re: ENDUROEBIKE.COM

ITs a good idea for safety to increase the thottle acceleration rate delay on the controlller software like kelly controllers have. that increases the dealy time and means you can wind the thorttle quickly without being jerked or the front wheel suddenly lifting up.

Re: ENDUROEBIKE.COM

I have this frame also. IT seems ok but the welding around the headtube does not seem very thick. ALso there is visible oxidation on the the steel inside the headtube. The welding seems a little thin in certain areas. The metal around the headtube is quite thin. A video on youtube shows leili ebike ...

Re: Steel Ebike Frame EASTGEM ~600$

You could maybe get the steel swingarm for the bike if you're not happy with the CF, but I'm thinking it will work for ya, and it looks really cool and light. I'm not sure when I'll finish mine. It will be an awesome bike I think, but I'm not ready to spend the money for another bht, 18 fet, and ba...

Re: Steel Ebike Frame EASTGEM ~600$

seller said 16kg no problem and can support upto 300nm torque. A 1kg carbon swing arm is really the same weight as a full suspension downhill carbon mountain bike swingarm. I had hoped for something with heavier layers of carbon for a heavy hub motor ebike swingarm.

Re: Steel Ebike Frame EASTGEM ~600$

Im worried about putting a heavy hub motor on a 1kg carbon swing arm on the denzel frame? A 13-16kg hub motor on a 1kg swing arm doesn't seem a safe idea. my motor is 5kw continous a 8kw peak with motorcycle rim and is nearly 16kg. DO you think its safe?

Re: First build and using an aluminium frame

I would reccomend instead using a heavy duty strong ebike frame with strong thick dropouts. SOmething like the denzel ebike or leili ebike enduro frame or cyclone ebike frame. THose frames come with reasonably good strong torque arms. The denzel frame has padded motorcycle seat option also which is ...

Kinda doesn't look like steel! Is that the one you ordered? Ps, I have no formula on battery space, probably just some rough meas and lipo bricks or a premade pack. Man 50ah seems like alot, but I read the guy from quikbix said they are pretty similar to the older rapter design, so maybe that much ...

What formula do you use to calculate the battery space volume of a ebike frame with the dimensions of the frame battery area? 18650 cells are 18mm diameter. ive ordered the gross xl frame. rather use prismatic nmc 3.7v cells than 18650 cells as they are availible in higher capacity so using less cel...

I'm wondering what is the largest capacity battery you could fit in the battery case if using 3.7v nmc cells or perhaps not using the case to use the extra room I'm worried about using 18650 cells as if a cell failed spot welded cells are hard to fix on a battery with hundreds of ...
