Re: Definitive Tests on the Heating and Cooling of Hub Motors

pretty sure it is DOT.

Once the rear started grumbling, I had no choice but to squeeze harder on the front....

These are the rear pads lol

off topic

My next goal is to work out how not to fry my brakes. My last ride scared me. A long 50 km ride with repeated steep 200 metre descents climbs and repeat with ambient temps of 30+degreesC... when my rear started grumbling and then the worst my hydraulics just completely went on the front... The front...

Re: LightningRods mid drive kit

great to see one finally mounted.

surprised how much ground clearance has been lost though... imagined it would have been more tucked up for some reason...

super low is good for on road though.

Re: Definitive Tests on the Heating and Cooling of Hub Motors

That's a nice video of mate-ship riding bikes enjoyed it. All the complexity of that set up on a Mac however boggles my mind though. For the type of riding in the vid a bigger hub and the usual sinks and ff would keep just as cool if not cooler. Open road riding is the right gearing so heat should b...

Re: Hub Motor cooling solution - HUBSINK OFFICIAL THREAD

Hey Macribs, I'll keep this short ish. The FF Sinks solution with a large hub 8t in 17" wheel is great, but you can't expect something that is in the wrong gear still to be as effective at slow steep climbing as a mid drive in the right gear. No hub motor with any mods can never do what my mid drive...

screw

No idea this was still going sorry. guys the screws and bolts are not worth mentioning. No way they would have ever been a problem. If they were those weak ass alu things (ring nuts?) bicycles use YES! The pic I posted had a broken head from my own force of trying to get the dam thing in. On top of ...

guys his sprocket and spacers are built tougher than any off the shelf bicycle component could ever withstand. dt swiss is the toughest I found and ran and it also shat itself at the end. If I had to run the system again I still would run dt swiss for a fw. dont think there is tougher. for those spa...

my 2 cents This looks worse that the last model. It looks pregnant with connections and I had mine on my handle bars for maximum air flow. With that added stuff there it will be bulkier where ever you put it. With cables you got more chances to hide connections somewhere else. https://endless-sphere...

Re: wish list features

There's no question how great the CA is, however, I wonder if this is the right place to add suggestions or is there thread else where for wish list of future features? Yes, this is the right place, and you can also put in a feature request on the google docs here: http://www.ebikes.ca/product-info...

qulbix 76 axle phase wires nuts spacing

I am pointing to a space with the screw driver in this picture. It appears that it should be inside the dropout. Although if it is inside the dropout, the pinch bolt will not fit on and the phase wires will be extra squashed and probably rub on the disc brake. The motor is already 1 cm more on the r...

Sir J

Awesome Justin. This now adds a bit of a spanner in the works! Especially for those playing with wheel sizes for their optimal speed. A small wheel needing higher rpm now starts to lose some value if FF is included. Obviously small still has the advantage at lower speeds.... Now this brings me back ...
