Re: Cycle Analyst V3 Please Help

I suppose I can do that. Figured i'd try to find someone with a similar problem or knowledge of this problem before looking over the pcb but that probably is a good idea.

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 Please Help

Pretty sure the screen isn't the problem. Half of the time it works perfectly. Some of the time, after working fine for 10 minutes it will begin to flash random characters on the screen or just display totally random stuff or nothing it all. But the problem absolutely happens when i plug power in wi...

Please Help?! Sorry if this has been mentioned or discussed before, but i've been dealing with this problem for years and i've finally decided to look for answers. I got my cav3 dp back in 2014 and for as long as I can remember I've had sporadic screen cutouts/random characters flash on the screen o...

Re: Three Tidal Force bikes for Sale: Austin,Tx

Interested. Would like more details. Not familiar with these specific bikes but I am local (Brenham) but I am in Austin today. I have some family over here. So maybe just post some pics with info on what all is included and I can let you know something.

This looks awesome! Can you link to any videos of this bad boy in action? Top speed? Current draw? Max wattage? Weight?

How did you attach wires to these cells/the cells to eachother? Did soldering work normally? Hardware (nuts/bolts)? Spot welding? They're way cheaper than buying any new lipo packs and I'm just wondering how tough they are to actually make into a pack.

Did you hook the two meanwells up in series? IF so, did you put any special diodes or anything inline with the output?

Re: electronics to convert Meanwell HLG supply into a charge

What diode are you using on the output? I think I may leave the supplies hooked up all the time so i dont have to worry an open connector at pack voltage.

Re: Cycle Analyst V3 preview and first beta release

Hey guys, Just got my cav3 dp installed and love it. I'm using the pass through throttle mode most of the time. One feature that I came to love on my Infineon type controller was the momentary switch activated cruise control. Is there any way to use the ca to have this same capability? I read that i...

Re: "True" Power Rating of 48V1000W Yescom Kit

Does anyone know how many magnet/poles are in this yescom 1000w rear motor? Need to know so I can properly set up my cav3 to properly read the speed via the hall sensors.

Thanks!!

Re: The ultimate onboard charging solution

Just ordered three of these 240W supplies in the 24V versions to charge my 18S setups (I'll set them to 25V for 4.167V/cell). I've had perfect service from a set of three 320W units for a couple of years already, this is an excellent solution to reliable charging. The 240W units are the highest in ...

Re: The ultimate onboard charging solution

Any chance you can post a "schematic for dummies" drawing on how to run these safely in series and explain what the diodes do and what they are needed for? And also maybe a link to the diodes so I can purchase some? I've been using one Meanwell and having to break the pack in half but it w...

Re: HLG Meanwells in Series, Cycle Analyst Help Needed

Great Info! I guess I just need to do some research on the CAV3 and figure out how to wire that up. As far as the meanwells in series, i know ive seen a few people talk about installing diodes, but i've also read that these HLG models are already isolated and really dont require any special wiring t...

HLG Meanwells in Series, Cycle Analyst Help Needed

Alright guys, I know this info is out there, but I'm not understanding exactly what I need to make this work. Re: electronics to convert Meanwell HLG supply into a charge

The diodes are across each supply - their purpose is to save the output capacitors in the power supplies if one goes into protection mode (e.g. thermal cut-off) - they stop the entire pack voltage from going across the capacitors of the supply that's 'off'. If you didn't have this, you will blow th...

Re: build electronics to convert any power supply into a cha

I can vouch that they work well as well - HLG-150-36 X 4 in series, with diodes across each one, and a diode in series with the output, that charges a 150V, 40AH pack on a Vectrix. HeathYoung, It sure seems like you know quite a bit about wiring these hlg's up in series to bulk charge lipo's. The p...

I ordered 14 of these packs from the USA warehouse about a month ago. 13 out of the 14 were in good shape (haven't really had them long enough to determine much). 1 of the packs did have a failure. The tab on one of the end cells with the positive discharge wire on it was cracked right next to the p...
