Re: FUTR frames, Adaptto Controllers, Eaton Chargers, batteries

Hello Allex. I hope you can help me with a simple bms question- Does the adaptto bms have any potential for low current draw even if its not connected to controller, just the sense plugs connected to the pack? just that i stored my packs with the bms still connected to them for a few months.... chee...

Re: Spot Welding Copper Strips to 18650 Battery Cells

Hey RTL You can parallel transformers, it's pretty simple but you have to get the windings around the right way otherwise you are shorting one to the another. thx for that. i keep seeing ovens around but like in a dream, its never the time to get them :| when i get them together, (i think ill try 3...

Re: Neumotor 8057/75 middrive project, belt drive, adding halls, 10kW+

hmm i think i should start a new repair thread for Adaptto. that would be an awesome idea. also including cap upgrades etc. so many people out there with adaptto controllers, sooner or later will probably break and repair service seems non existant at the moment. it seemed to me that the actual pow...

that is so awesome. your pics are so sharp. how do you get them like that? i thought the forum would not allow hd files like hat to be uploaded, atleast i have failed to so far. so even though the motor is still unsprung strictly speaking, it is only 2+kg and closer to the pivot point aswell as bein...

Re: Another EEB build with a few twists.

The frame itself is steel not aluminum. I may modify the torque plates before adding more power. I built both wheel sets myself. They are using Holmes Hobbies nipples, 12awg leader spokes, stainless steel washers flaired conical, and some manual machine work. checked with a magnet? sorry, just bein...

sounds like a good back pack full of lipo is best bet. pack size optimised for short trips at high amps...and oh, dont forget the asbestos firewall in the backpack :D

Re: Another EEB build with a few twists.

that looks like the the same type of aluminium enduro frame i just did a build with.
the clamping torque plates that came supplied were infact about a hard as cheese, made of aluminium not steel.
i like the frame in general but needs some added extras for safety.

Re: Help

hmm, sounds like you just shorted the pins on the plug and charred the crap out of it. you will perhaps just need to replace said plug with some soldering, making sure you have polarity right and back yr in buisness. if you cant find the replacement plug, you might need to use another type rated for...
