Re: My Sun Trip Bike, Back to Back Tandem Trike with Rowing Generator, Pedals, +Solar

hi all. I feel so grateful for all the brainstorming that has been done so far for 2020 edition. The velo in the picture must belong to Jean-Marc Dubouloz. There's another WAW registered, another Quest, and probably a third WAW to be confirmed. I'll be the one in the Quest. Calculations aside, the b...

Re: Bluetooth dongle for ebike - BAFANG, Kunteng, KingMeter

Thanks for the info. We completely missed that one. That's Linshui, and it seems well made as well. The reason we have such a high goal is that we need certain support for a mass production. Hand-assembling them has it's limitations. Also, our app it's functional and everything, but before making it...

Re: Bluetooth dongle for ebike - BAFANG, Kunteng, KingMeter

Isn't there another one of these that's already out? i so misunderstood your question, lol Yes, recently Kunteng released their version. Golden motor has had theirs for a couple of years at least. The functionality is really limited though in both cases. We aim to use all that the protocol can prov...

Not really, we have a number of samples, we used them for more than one year, but none is out there at the moment

Re: Bluetooth dongle for ebike - BAFANG, Kunteng, KingMeter

Like it  please add max amps and watts to logging if not already implemented, and finally parallel cell voltages , looks promising i hope you see this through after the kickstarter. Unfortunately that would involve communicating with the BMS, and few of them have any intelligence at all. M...

Bluetooth dongle for ebike - BAFANG, Kunteng, KingMeter

Hi All, We are a young company based in the UK, and for the last couple of years we worked on an Bluetooth dongle compatible with most DIY ebikes. We launched the campain on Kickstarter, and we are very happy to talk about it. https://ksr-ugc.imgix.net/assets/015/396/465/c785eea1e59cb1500e1a6e1aeea0...

Re: New Bafang Crank-Drives

thanks a bunch. I was not aware of c963. I'll order one right away I still think they should have improved the current at low RPMs. No excuse for them not having any notion of power electronics. Maybe we'll find a solution around it.. A dynamic change of power assist level based on motor RPM perhaps...

Re: New Bafang Crank-Drives

hi guys I am trying to find out a few informations regarding this kit, but a quick search in the 170+ pages of this thread did not give useful any results. I admit I only used a friends BBS02 for a brief moment, but I realised a few shortcomings: - the LCD does not have the power output indication. ...

Re: BMSBattery S-LCD3 <--> S06s serial data protocol?

Hi x-speed, I am glad to hear you decoded the lcd-1 protocol and i think it would be a dream come true if we were able set the angle tuning on our controllers. I intend to buy the lcd-3 and find out how it works, but in the meantime I am stuck with a different problem. I bought the basic LED panel h...

Re: GNG, 1000W 48V BB-drive, $400

Hello guys. I lost the nut that holds the sprocket on the motor shaft, but the GNG doesn't know what type it is. Can anyone of you tell me how can I find this nut? I tried about all hardware stores, but no luck at all. It seems that this type of nut is not used in Italy.. I also happen to have a ma...

Re: suspect bad FET driving engineering in Chinese controlle

thank you very much! I guess I still have to learn a lot. Now everything makes sense. I was about to take out the mosfets and switch the high side mosfets with the p-channel counterparts and to modify the circuit accordingly only to see what happens. Probably I'll make a couple more simulations and ...

suspect bad FET driving engineering in Chinese controllers

Hello everyone, I'm new on this forum and I'd like to use this opportunity to say hi to everyone! I happen to be an ebike fan like everyone else, but my last 3 diy bicycles got stolen, so so lately I'm doing more of an documentation work rather than a practical one.
