bestech d131 24s question

hi folks,

Ive heard somewhere that you can use a bms with less cells than its designed for. I have a 24s bms but would like to use it for 14s. Is this possible and how do i go about it?

Thanks
Matt

Mac sanyo dynamotor code stamp

Hi all, I have a sanyo dynamotor geared hub. It was given to me a while back and set aside in the workshop for future use. I dragged it out today and had a look. It has a code stamped on it - MAC074933. I have tried googling the numbers however nothing comes up. Does anyone know what these numbers m...

Re: MXUS 3000 Hub Motor

Hi, Can anyone tell me if they build a mxus 3k with different length spokes left and right or are people using same length spoke to build the wheel centered on the hub flange?

Any info would be great. Thanks.

Re: Electric BMX

Just thought id update the thread. I now have an old diamondback frame I got from a friends bike shop for £5. I made some proper torque plates and had them brazed on. Got a front disc mount brazed on to the bmx forks. Made a ca mount for the stem so it sits safe within the bars and centered up. Used...

Re: troubleshooting intermittent sensored gear hub motor

I had this happen to me very recently. Intermitent working/not, didnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. It would be randomly jerky/fine/nothing. It ended up being the throttle - the wires going to it. I stripped the old throttle and found the green wire only holding on by a single strand. It was...

^ sounds like a recipe for a hot motor. I would defo use a small wheel. "Volt up gear down" has served me well in rc and ebikes.
