Re: What kind of tires are these?

I have these tyres on my bike, the tyres are motorbike tyres. Mine came from china and says Carrystone on them. In the UK they are called Bridgestone. The size for the front and back are the same tyre and is 19". If you type 80/100-19 tyre Bridgestone on ebay they should show up. They are very good t...

Re: Stolen DH Comp in Boston

You can’t really leave a bike unattended theses days or at least keeping an eye on it constantly. At minimum you need a motorbike chain (2 is better) and rear rotor alarm lock (cheap on ebay) and a standard one for the front wheel (so the wheel cannot turn). If you do build a new bike its worth look...

Re: Motor controller not pulling rated amps

It is a road legal 2 wheel scooter provided by a company called Evo-motion https://www.evoscooters.co.uk/ But designed by a company called Forca https://www.forca-sports.de/bossman-s-2/ And from what I can deduce is that Yongkang chihui industry and trade co, LTD Produced the parts, as on their ali...

Re: EEB parts and support info

I just recently brought the kickstand from em3ev for my bike frame from em3ev. I had no problems putting my ebb stand on from em3ev. The only way to install it I found with the bolt supplied is bolt it from the inside of the frame which is the wrong way to do it. em3ev said to drill out the stand ho...

Re: Motor controller not pulling rated amps

If its not limited… you cannot go more then 30amps then its either your controller is NOT rated at 43amps or and your battery is unable to give out more then 30amps. What do you have Is it a 2 wheel scooter? As typing in google Yongkang chihui industry and trade co, LTD comes up as 2 wheel scootors ...

Re: 48v 350w to 48v 1000w

48v 1000w motor should have thicker wires so they can handle more amps and watts so it doesn’t melt the wires. You need to upgrade your controller say a 40amp the battery at higher then 40amps continues will be better for example 45amps or more. Use 12awg or 10awg silicon wire everywhere you can wit...

Re: How Many Amps 2 Pole Speakon Socket handle?

Last I saw ddk used lipos too. Maybe you can use 4-pole like he uses but 2 for positive & 2 for negative. I did look at using the 4 pole but I want to settle for the 2 pole, much more simple and less wire joins but if the 2 pole cannot handle 10A comfortably cont….. then only then the 4 pole will b...

Re: How Many Amps 2 Pole Speakon Socket handle?

Thank you for all the info, going with all the info I am going to ask ddk on his thread to get more accurate info, as I have doubts the 2 pole can handle 30A

If anyone has more info please post it as I don’t want to set my bike on fire, by the way I am running lipos

Hi ddk, I posted on another thread and was told to ask you as you have been using Neutrik chassis connector and spekon connectors. I have Neutrik NL2MP 2 pole chassis connector (brought from ebay UK). I am tying to find out can Neutrik NL2MP 2 pole chassis connector handle 10A without any issues, ha...

Re: How Many Amps 2 Pole Speakon Socket handle?

No hard numbers, but prob enough for bike charging. Some of the Speakons are actually four wires inside, so worth checking. I got the 2 pole connections, I have 5amp charger but I might be upgrading my charger to a higher amp so I what to know if at least if the 2 pole spekon can handle 10amps comf...

I am running lipo 55.5v when charged its reading 62.4v and top speed without peddling is 40mph on flat ground (with my weight). Can you not program yours? More amps ...

Re: Shortest possible Shock for EEB?

If you do have 26” wheels you can fit 190mm one. These bikes are for spring shocks don’t recommend other wise. You could try out your idea and see how it turns out. I don’t think any one has got less then 190mm (spring shock) on there bike here.

Looking nice its a sure head turner! screw in the torque plate falling out could suggest you not tighten it up enough, I just checked mine and mine are still good. Just get some lock tight (blue stuff) should help from loosening up. I’m not sure if the screws are custom to the bike though. Som...

Providing you do have the cable to program it from EM3EV then I am surprised they have no documentation how to program it.
I am thinking you don’t know how to access the controller to program it.. still?

Did you get a PDF file to show how to program the 12fet controller?

Yes that’s right if it’s the star nut your talking about, once in you cannot get it out without destroying it (drilling it out easiest maybe), make sure its straight not to far down. There are youtube videos on installing the star nut in the fork without the proper tool this worked for me. EM3EV def...

I don’t know if there different manufacturers but would not be surprised if there was. Yours is not right it should not be like that. It should all be nice and flush and have no issues when tightening the swing arm bolts. The shock mounts on the swing arm should not need to be bent ‘really’ (You may...
