Re: Giant Anthem X3 with Adaptto

2.4Kw peak and around 1.6Kw continous. The hub is a Crystalyte 4080 running a 14s battery for around 52 volts and a 40 amp controller.
The guy I'm building it for shouldn't be aloud to much more power than that I think as his a bit accident prone.

Re: Giant Anthem X3 with Adaptto

Very nice and clean looking bike, I like the colours myself. I'm currently doing a Anthem atm and was wondering which way you went with your dropouts, are they Dr bass torque plates you have their or did you go another direction as im trying to keep a 7 speed on it if possible. My other option could...

Re: Why tesla with DD motor has massive torque and we need g

Just by going to a higher voltage will help your acceleration, why not go 18s and grab yourself a controller that can handle it, you can get yourself a cheap greentime controller or buy yourself a grin controller that can do 36 to 90 volts at 40 amps. You have the option of a Lyen 12 fet 45amp contr...

Noseless ? Please explain or is it just a seat without the nose on it like a lot or recumbent bikes use.

Re: AUS ally rims - arrived!

Awesome news RTL, Those rims look very nice and cant wait to get my hands on a them.
The Quality looks good and to have 5mm holes they should fit the 12 g nicely . Im Just off to Holmes to check nipple sizes now. (12 Gauge has a 4.75mm diameter)
Thank you very much.

What are you hoping to gain out of them ? These are intended for the hi performance heli flyers who want every fraction of a volt they can get from relatively small packs. More speed maybe? A 20s pack of these will give you 87 Volts hot of the charger instead of 84 volts, So if you and your mate ha...

Re: 4kW Vector Frame build

On 22s 92 volts hot of the charger your bike will be doing 110kph or 65 mph and will overheat in 7.3 minutes, Have you thought about running a Mxus 4T or 5T as this motor will hold up a little better and will run for ever at 80kph or 50mph in a 5T and a 4T will overheat in 33 minutes at 100kph or 60...

Without Torque Arms that STEEL axle will just chew out your 10mm thick Aluminium dropouts and spin freely in the dropouts ripping your phase and hall wires to bits. I see you got Sams other 5T, Im planning to run mine on 21s 18650 cells and 20s Multistars if i cant find a good 100 volt controller bu...

Ill have to start looking at some of Holmes hobby's moped spokes i think. Either those or some good 12 gauge should do the job nicely.
