Do these packs look ok?

Hi all! Could I get your thoughts on this pack and if I got 2 of them and wired them to get 72V, would it be suitable for a QS205 motor with a Sabvoton 72200 controller? I know aliexpress is hit or miss, but I need a battery pack that is already assembled and plug and play? I have no way to build my...

You can buy spacers for that if you are unable to fabricate them. https://www.ebikes.ca/shop/electric-bicycle-parts/motor-hardware/washers-and-spacers/spacewash3.html https://www.ebay.com/itm/Bike-ebike-bicycle-axle-M12-spacer-ID-12mm-set-Alum-x-7pcs/272114749114?hash=item3f5b4d8eba:g:Q1sAAOSwX~dWp...

Re: Could I get an opinion on this freewheel issue?

Making a spacer for the axle shoulder is easy. If this simple task is too much for you, maybe you deserve to ride the cheap Chinese freewheel. The thing is I live a city apartment and resources are scarce here. I have no garage only basic hand tools. If I had access to a bench grinder i coul...

Could I get an opinion on this freewheel issue?

Hi guys I had my motor up and running after mounting it to the Enduro frame. Space allows to pretty much use bmx single freewheel. The best one that i get my hands on was the shimano one. However as u can see in the pics its much wider than the chinese one that I got from aliexpress. Id prefer the s...

I'd say do something full custom if you can. Cos that thing looks too ugly to be strong
Not meant to please your eyes. So does that mean someone who custom makes a rack with steel will always look appealing? Lol
It did the trick on my last hardtail bike so we will see this time on a suspension

Do you mean steel seatpost or steel rearrack where it attaches to the seatpost???
I mean the post, depending on how tight you need to clamp the rack down, so you don't crush it.

If you grab the end of the rack and push is left and right, does it move at all?
Ok ill try and let u know thx

Re: What do you think of this rack configuration?

How heavy is the pack. If it's big, I might trust that rack if it were supported as designed, but in that configuration, I'd worry about leaning or other side to side movements with 15lbs on top of it. The battery bag fits quite snug between those 2 pannier side pieces. I just bolted them facing up...

Hi all!
I have the EEB bike and the qs205 fits snug inside of it. However the wires are too close to the disc rotor and bolts.
What does too close mean? All it has to do is not contact.
Super close..like 1mm. Ill try and maybe bend the wires the best i can and zip tie but its still worrysome

Install without the spacer.

Ill try but it looks iffy. The wires are almost touching the rotor. Id like to make more room if possible rather than having the rotor chew up the wires

Hi all! I have the EEB bike and the qs205 fits snug inside of it. However the wires are too close to the disc rotor and bolts. Re: What do you think of this rack configuration?

That seems pretty decent. Only thing I can't see well in the picture is where it attaches to the shock mount there are some links there. You want to be sure the bolts can't pivot there and fold up. A rear rack on a full suspension bike is always tough. The way you have it triangulated is about as g...

What do you think of this rack configuration?

Hi guys After getting the eeb kit and installing the qs205 naturally there was no place to mount the rack. I had the arms of the rack attached to the frame of my other mtb but now I had to improvise. Its not an expensive rack. I tried my best to support different areas of the rack but the arms are s...

Re: new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

Sorry had another quick question.
What is the name or model of the tool needed to tighten the cyclone lockrings? Cyclone said they dont have it available. I mainly see just BB tools for the shell itself not the lockrings
Thx

They do mount on the swing arm, and they are telescopic adjustable.
The pic u posted looks good with the clamp style on both sides. Was it from aliexpress?

Those are made kind of universal mount. They can be fitted to any bike with minimal mods.
It looks kinda short though
I assume it mounts to the swingarm?

Kickstand issues

Hi all...are there any alternative kickstand solutions for bikes with enduro kits and others similar? The one that EEB sells doesnt seem to be that beefy especially if you have a lot of battery weight and you also gotta relocate it since the crank arms hit it when pedaling. Anyone find a suitable bo...

Question for Enduro or similar type frames

Hi guys
It seems that a longer chain is needed on these kits with the longer swingarm compared to a regular MTB. What types of chains are you guys running and how many links would be recommended? I can always remove links so the longer the chain the safer for installation.
Thanks

Re: Is this possible to do?

I have a similar pack. I balance it using a charger that charges only through the balance leads. I use 3 amps or less through the thin Lipo type balance connectors and leads. I balance the CroBorg pack once a year or so. I just did it again yesterday. It doesn't take long if the pack is near full c...
