Re: BMS defect or unbalanced cells

Yeah you gotta know what your doing when you work on batteries and LiPo. Basically, you got two main wires, pos+ and neg+ that are thick gauge. Then there will be smaller wires which are you balance wires, which dis/charge that parallel group. 3S4P, 3 in series, with 4 groups in parallel. main neg ...

Re: BMS defect or unbalanced cells

I would manually balance each single groupe to 4.20V. Than do a discharge cycle, recharge using bulk charger. Repeat 5 times. Then take voltage readings. Maybe they just got out of balance because of leakage current that the BMS drains on certain cell groups over the years. In other words, maybe all...

Re: BMS defect or unbalanced cells

I would like to,but the problem is the battery doesent take charging. The charger is tested on another battery and works very well.
So the question is if the BMS is defect or only in sleep mode.Could a unbalanced battery cause BMS to shut off charging. My highest cell was 3.71v and lowest 3.2v

I burned my Q128C at 48volt 18a up a long steep hil where I have used Bafang bpm and Bafang swx02 and Mxus xf18 without any problems.I also have used a Q128H (same no load speed) at 48v 18a up a steeper/longer hil with no problems

How much sag to expect from 36v 20ah Q30 cells and 25 a controller

I have a Bafang bbs 36volt 500 watt motor with 25a controller and a ebay battery with samsung 32 e cells 19,2 Ah
It sags from fully charged to 38volt at full throttle. Is this to be expected or will a high quality lion battery with 30Q cells sag less?

Re: Mac 10 rear vs front overheating

You see the heat bridge in the link below.it goes from stator and through the side cover to the outside of the motor.

Mac 10 rear vs front overheating

Since the new front mac motor has a heat bridge from the stator to the outside will it take significally more time to overheat a front mac motor than a rear casette version?

Wendy at Bmsbattery.com just told me that the Bafang bbs 01 250w motor was stronger than this new 250w Akiema motor.

Re: New "Lingbei MM28.250 torque sensor mid drive"

Is this lingbei motor stronger than the bafang bbs?
The motor (stator and rotor)seems wider than bafang, does it give 100%power on pedals only or do you need to use throttle to get 100% power like with the bafang bbs
Anybody tried the 250w and know how powerful it is?
