Re: Tubeless Rim's What Brands ? Prices ?

Why not look into thicker tires like the Schwalbe, adding a Thorn Proof tube, and adding the protectors or making your own out of old tubes. I just patched a bunch of mine and will be making my own protectors out of the thorn proof tubes. I bought like 4 of them from the community bicycle shop, now ...

Unibond Spot and Flood light with alum housing, normal is $40 goes on sale for $20 and $25. https://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/6-1-4-in-led-spot-flood-light/A-p8546038e 1250 Lumens, and people seem to be stunned by its brightness and I angle it down and 40' ahead. What kind of magnifier do you guys use to look at the smaller details and for what? I use this when I need hands-free magnification https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=61874 My brother just uses his celphone camera to zoom in on stuff. Mine's too crappy to do that with. ^Yeah mine...

Magnify Glass vs Jewelry Microscope Magnifier Loupe

As we get old, our eyes get old too  Right now I wear 3.50 all the time, they are over the counter drug store glasses. Re: $14.99 72v Sunwin Controller

Did some searching and said f-it, taking a shunt off the first one I have been using for years now, and going to place it on the 48V 1500W 45A. A) I am thinking I should straighten it out and place it on the backside? B) Leave it as it is, but not sink it too deep into the solder on the backside. I ...

Re: $14.99 72v Sunwin Controller

This is a good reminder, I will activate mine on the 45A which is the highest for hksunwin in stock form. There is probably nothing to program on these boards as the LVC is just the resistor newtork and the current would be the shunts. These boards probably have multiple options for different chips ...

Re: $14.99 72v Sunwin Controller

I am taking apart mine now, I noticed a missing fet screw, had to cut the end plate off, the cap I wired in still working good. Only issue is I ripped out the self learn white wire from the pcb. I just realized the controller I've been using all this time is the 60V 800W 30A model, no modifications....

Re: Winterized

I've considered warming up gloves etc, but think 12V waterproof 3528 led strips would be my preference. Very soft and flexible when warm, plenty of cheap "dimmers" to regulate warmth, and can turn inside out for putting on a show. How hot would led strips get? Coldest days here were last night, its...

Re: longer range (over 100 yards) wireless vibration alarm?

This is what I'd do for that ebike. Buy the shittiest looking frame that you make so that it operates smoothly and has no logo's on any kind on the bike and the components. Scratch them off! Dont paint it shitty, buy a steel bicycle that is rusted! Do not use disc brakes, use V-brakes. Have a functi...

Re: Winterized

I just purchased some NiChrome wire to sew into my gloves, scarf and pants. Not sure what a good wattage rating is, but I'd only use it for -5C and colder. I was thinking of using a High/Medium/Low using a SP4T which includes on/off and fused on + side. Basically a 10' wire, is tapped to obtain 25W ...

I thought it was only delivery people that were not allowed to operate ebikes.
I watched a youtube video on a typical ride in NYC and they had blue CitiBank ebikes for rent at docking stations.

https://www.ebikes.ca/learn/power-ratings.html Basically there is no standard for power ratings for motors, so its a nothing point. This post comes up a lot when searching for hall sensors. So bump this up to the top for shitsngiggles. Question is, how much out of spec is doable when it comes to Hall Sensors? I try to get as close as I can to the SS41, so even though the first one, on the left is cheapest, I dont think it would ...

Re: Cheapest Active Cell Balancer Project

For a 10S5P at a cost of say $3 which is the cost of the MPZ307 alone its going to be $150, judging from Digikey.CA's website, more like $5 for each balancer. Easier for me to just buy a BMS from Besttech. It is a very interesting circuit you made there and I am quite impressed by it actually.

Re: Soldering novice: charger wire to BMS board

Maybe you have a 25W iron and you need a 60W iron. Once the iron is up to temp, any solder should change color and flow easily enough. If the hole in the pcb is not melting by sticking the hot irons tip in it then I am not sure what else there is to do without pictures I guess. What I'd do is get a ...
