Re: IN NEED OF YOUR EXPERT OPINIONS

Guys where does all the paranoia come from? Ride like a twat and yes you will likely be pulled over sooner or later. But use your head and ride whatever bike with pedals and "use"those pedals and you will be fine. Or at least the odds are so clearly in your favor. 2 keys held by other persons? What...

Re: IN NEED OF YOUR EXPERT OPINIONS

Re: IN NEED OF YOUR EXPERT OPINIONS

If you are in London England, rather then London Ontario Canada I would have a serious thought on the NYX frame, just because it does not look like a tradition bicycle. You will probably get shit tons of glances. From what I have read, lots of Englanders are paranoid about being "Legal" (Whatever T...

Re: IN NEED OF YOUR EXPERT OPINIONS

Hehe... MY first electric two-wheeler was w/a chain-driven rear wheel w/a nominal 450W motor. Wasn't TOO hard to lift the front tire/wheel just by leaning back and squeezing that little "GO" button. BIG fan of front-wheel drive now. i have to lean forward way over the handle bars not to lift...

Re: IN NEED OF YOUR EXPERT OPINIONS

I fully appreciate what you all say re onroad ebike limits in the uk but 15.5mph/250w max is obviously not going to cut it when I go onto private roads and off road which is why I want to build a strong reliable powerfull off road ebike, im not planning on getting pulled up by the old bill as I wan...

Re: IN NEED OF YOUR EXPERT OPINIONS

Re: What's the point of 1000+W ebikes ?

what is the point in a 1000hp car or even a 250hp car saying that even a 100hp car can do 100mph easy but why have a car when you can ride a bike and only need a 250cc with less than 50hp to go 100mph easy but most people average 30mph in there car even with motorway miles and going over 70mph i gue...

Re: new cyclone 3000 w mid-drive kit?

So for their $399 2kw-4kw kits they charge $120 for s/h $520USD($658CAD/AUS) Difference is between 2-4kw and 1.8kw-3kw 650-1.7kw Those numbers gotta be Nominal (# - #) Maximum Then theres the crazy 7.5kw and 18kw with BB setup which would rip through any bicycle grade components. components can tak...

Re: hub drive vs mid drive

there is a few other options but those are mostly way over powered or way under powered ( legal ) once you get to the 75kg bike + rider might aswell convert a 125cc and go 11.5kw and have all the power you need or like me build a 30/60kw with plans to go to 60/120kw 1.5kw is fine for a bicycle, 3kw...
