Re: Help with deciding on E bike
The Logan has 28 inch wheels. Bill
700c rims on the Logan. Tires are labelled 47-622, 700x45c, 28 x 1 5/8 x 1 3/4. It seems that a 29 inch tire uses the same rim diameter, just a larger tire. Bicycle tire sizing is confusing. http://sheldonbrown.com/tire-sizing.html I did a rollout ...

Tried that, no response. Is there a place in North America that stocks this controller?

Re: Epik Whistler

I tried to send you a PM but it says your account is no longer available? Whats up? you OK? Wasy? I keep my speedo set for the wheels I have on the bike 700c, I don't need to go faster than the stock speed limit. Everything is working wonderful on the bike, have my trekking bars in, will install the...

Re: Epik Whistler

After much research, I am sticking with the stock components. The bars and brakes are better than what come with most ebikes. The only thing I took off the bike was the saddle, and there was nothing inherently wrong with it, just had to have a Brooks leather saddle. Purchased a B72, no complaints. S...

It is ridiculous for sure. Found a webpage that expounds upon this. http://andiamnotlying.com/2008/alert-ween-ups-has-trademarked-the-color-brown/ "This changes EVERYTHING. This can’t be possible. Re: Help with deciding on E bike

The eProdigy Logan I purchased is treating me well. Now if it would just warm up! The Logan is not a small bike. I've never been as tall as you and doubt I ever will be lol, but at six feet tall, the bike is as large as I would ever want it to be. I will say, consider a Brooks saddle no matter what ...

Re: Hoping for a Cop Car when SOMEONE ELSE is driving crazy?

As the video is set to private, it is hard to form an opinion. People driving slow in the passing lane are annoying. Tailgating at speed is reckless and life threatening. Mangled cars and deaths are devastating. Along with SMSM (Signal, Mirror, Shoulder, Move), our driver instructor taught us ICKY (...

Re: Hoping for a Cop Car when SOMEONE ELSE is driving crazy?

Slower Traffic Keep Right. Nothing more annoying than someone passing in the left lane, with their cruise control set to one mile per hour above the car they are passing. Signal, Mirror, Shoulder, Move, ACCELERATE and pass, repeat processes to get back into the slow lane. Cruise control should be ba...

Re: Epik Whistler

HOLY ---- !! IT WORKS!! I set mine for a 16" wheel and I could feel more power all round. It was too windy to get truly maximum speed but I definitely felt a difference plus more battery drain. I calculated that I can add 62.5% to whatever maximum speed I observe at the 16" setting. I observed a ma...

I wonder if the motor would have enough power to do it. VERY INTERESTING Bill I'm unsure of that, still getting my bicycling legs under me lol. Just working from theory right now. Re: Epik Whistler

Upgrading the motor and battery might improve your acceleration and range but it will do nothing to increase your maximum assist speed. That is a function of the controller. We are already extremely lucky to have a controller which can be set for 40 kph. I am presently researching a way to install ...

After a long winter and charging the battery every couple months I finally put it back on the bike and... dead. Picked up a new lithium for the J-LCD and... bike's still dead. Re: Need some help here please

The bike is working very well, it's been snowy and cold here, Only wiped it out once lol. It's been a long time since I put a pedal in motion, and this thing is like a jackrabbit! I have nothing to compare it too other than 15 years ago when I rode a bike, and these hills would have done me in. Now,...
