Re: new eZip motor

Get an electric blanket. Safe and warm! PM an address and I’ll send one, IF you’ll use it. But it’s going to the local St Vincent DePaul center if you wouldn’t make use of it.

Re: Luna Cycle X-1 Enduro FS (Bafang M600 / Dengfu M09)

Man, if the X-1 could be like a Ludicrous plastic-geared BBSHD, that would just be a dream. I mean even if the M600 was a BBSHD with a torque sensor, I'd be more than happy. But Bafang needs to bring back the ability for us to program it. Why can't Bafang just make it with a larger plastic gear tha...

If there's anyone in the Seattle area that isn't put off by the noise and wants to take the X1 off my hands before I ship it back to Luna I'd be happy to offer it at my cost less $400 (which reflects the shipping costs I'll be out).
I’m curious. How many forums got this complaint?

Re: RC Lipo pack inspection, series/parallel charging, and lifespan/safety tips

Below 2v I wouldn't use them, myself. Thanks. That’s what I thought I learned here but have zero experience. I wanted to hear a repeat of what I surmised was the best advice. A shame. The fella paid more than double the hobbyking price on eBay, and made modifications before ever testing/metering th...

My neighbor bought some Lipo off eBay. They won’t charge and in balance mode they show 1.3xV per cell 3s1p.

Re: RadPowerBike RadCity Commuter

In the Vespa world we found big o-rings from Catipillar worked great. https://youtu.be/BmwkuzbsiOg That video is titled for a cruise control, not a thumb throttle conversion of a grip throttle? I'm confused by your question... it's an o-ring using friction to hold the throttle position. Works great...

That's the idea but I'm thinking smaller, more thumb size than palm size. I didn't find anything on thingiverse, I'll probably just design something. I'm tempted to grab another one as my existing one has been so useful, but the problem is Jakov, you've made it so well it's so reliable, I don't see my existing one breaking anytime soon. Cheers Because they're so budget-priced, and reliable I DID add a backup. I'd rather use it then the KWe...

Re: JP spot welder

One more gone, now 5 units left, hurry up! :) Is two enough, or three too many! What’s the closeout price again? <VBG> Just sold my unused KWeld needing updates and a fix. With the case and parts I’m eating around $100 of air. That left a bad taste. Kinda unclear how the JP is so simple and still s...

Earliest BBS01 wiring

Does anyone have photos or diagrams of the original wiring from the C950 days?

Wondering if the wiring is the same and if a late version harness can be adapted.

It's here somewhere but buried in huge threads!

Re: Yoch MD.M11 250W 36V Changing the Program

How about sharing thoughts regarding riding with this motor ? What is good what is bad ? Parts are available for replacement if anything goes dead ? My 48V performs about the same as a 48v BBS02B. BUT, where to get parts? You'll not be able to change any programming options in the controller. Do yo...

Re: Nishi 18650 pack building kit

The V2 Vruzend sold by Micah Toll in the USA seems to have many satisfied customers at 10A peak per cell...I would huimbly suggest ta\that the contacts in the Nishi kit can handle more amps, such as the 15A 30Q cell, and the 20A 25R and HB2 cells... Vruzend V2 does 20A peak per cell. So does the ne...

Re: Nishi 18650 pack building kit

ACF 50 is a great solution Can't find whether it's dielectric or conductive, do you know? It is NOT conductive and commonly used in avionics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=30paBTt8Oko It will protect electrical joints, plugs and components and prevent corrosion causing high resistance joints. Re: Nishi 18650 pack building kit

The thing I would be worried about is corrosion on the bare copper spring. I would probably spray the coils down with ACF50 or similar corrosion preventative, provided it doesn't react with the platics or anything like that. In addition to that if I had a nice wooden or plastic box that was designe...

Re: kWeld - "Next level" DIY battery spot welder

How does the performance lack exactly? Just curious as i have the latest version. Coming from a malectrics welder is certainly more robust. I'm not a power user. From here on I'll only be building 10s4p-6p packs. I have a JP and a JP backup. If i'd have waited I'd have added the latest KWeld. I'm j...
