I already asked... which revision kWeld do you have?
I believe revision 2 or 3 purchased in July or August of 2017.

I bought it as a backup to my JP Welder. Never used but was told by you it needed an upgrade. I'll try to find that message...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Seriously! You truly believe HD CFO, CEO, and corporate staff are that shallow? HD had a scooter long before scooters were cool. HD has been poking at electric for at least 20 years. The market is only now waking up. But given it’s filled with low price leaders, who’d not evaluate the market with pa...

Sure, I like doing business with Keith. He is willing to be very helpful. I didn't think it was fair of me to take the probes from a full kit. Eventually, he'll have them in stock. He also cannot do the upgrades needed on my welder. For that, I must send the welder to you. I appreciate EVERYTHING yo...

Re: kWeld - "Next level" DIY battery spot welder

Something must be amiss with the shipping. $45! EU40! I just received a tracked postal shipment, actually 3 in the last month, for $8 from DE. (more or less) I'm not trying to bust chops, just nonplused by the cost to ship. I have a UPS business account and my costs are nowhere near $45. My competin...

Re: E-S Stealth Electric Bike Owners

Take it from someone who lives around the factory and in a part of the country where HD shops are a big presence. HD has been into electric design for more than a decade. Not starting, rather they’ve been watching the economics. Or so an HD engineer reports. But if reliability follows their pattern...

That's just what UPS charges me, I'm based in Germany. Have you noticed the big banner on my website, mentioning that I have a US reseller? Keith should be able to give you much better shipping rates. That's crazy! I buy from 2 DE bike parts resellers, the MOST I paid was 19USD to ship an NCX suspe...

Sells for bottom dollar? They have the highest markup on quite a few products. Notably BBSXX products. Consider the claim to be the largest N American reseller. The margin is MUCH better with Bafang. With Bafang it’s all about the dollar, greed, and served with poor support. Those other fellas selli...

I had a few wheels shipped with damaged wheels in my days with <redacted>and have heard of a few since. You get what you pay for. I ride two bbs01’s 350W. I have two new bbs01b motors to replace them. Great motors if you can manage to ride them within their limits. We use them on busy bike/walking/skating paths were high speed ruins the vibe. I really like these motors.

Re: 1971 Super Beetle EV Conversion - Using a salvage Leaf

I sold my last VW in 1999. A 1974 SB Convertible, and a 1970 Van. I sold them after a critical accident with a Camry. I now consider a SB or any Bug as more of a four wheeled motorcycle. One that NO ONE will insure for a reasonable price. Don’t get me wrong..I’d love it. a dream car, but there are o...

I guess you couldn’t be bothered by looking at the Aliexpress version. Seems there are at least two more designs. They are using microwave transformers. I trust Tatus and a number of posters. An electronic dunce here. That said I've been looking at the China made kits. Not to buy but I'm curious how they use a microwave transformer(?) rather than batteries?
