Re: new eZip motor
I have been calling 3D print shops. So far a lot of people like my belt drive conversion idea. It is really simple but complicated at the same time. There is a web site called thingiverse.com. I have not googled it yet but may be able to help create the file. I need the 3D files to print. electric ...

Re: Off Road Battery Size recommendation for BBSHD
the only battery I've seen that's small enough to mount under the seat is one of the 6ah/52v packs. personally I'm running an ebay 8ah/52v pack supposedly made of samsung 40Ts. I'm happy with the performance and range, just don't love the mounting options (frame bag), as I've worn through 2 of them...

I've seen a few pinched harnesses that have created an error 30. Zip ties were so tight the really thin inner wire (wires) got damaged. Not real common but it happens.

"Cramming" cells that are glued together is what we get with many Hailong case users. I prefer cell separators for a better build!

Have a backup welder I will part with. Bought it from Jakov. No probes or footswitch. Just the welder module. Seems there's a chance my pacemaker won't play nice with it. Won't be doing more builds, just keeping original for repairs. AND a friend as the operator.

Re: BMSs
Base mechanics. 10s3p battery pack or 10 groups of three cells, in series. Qustion: How do each of the eleven BMS balance wires or the BMS detect which cell is a problem, or, is it more general, meaning the contact is generally referring to the group, nothing so specific? So, for example, if a cell...

UPP sucks. Very poor quality builds, using nickel-coated steel connections rather than pure nickel. And low ball cheap featureless BMS.

Re: new eZip motor
Once again, a waste of money on a half-assed project. A new fork would cost less than the wasted products for the half-ass a repair. I do get the creative approach, but seeing the wiring with no regard for neg or pos, red for pos, and black for neg. So many half-assed wiring and solder joints. An ac...
