Buyers beware!
They have many bad reviews of shady dealings.
Listing stuff they don't actually stock, etc ....
A dozen orders here without a hitch. Maybe you misread reviews?

Re: Even the mormon capital of the USA has legalized medicinal cannabis..

A very close acquaintance runs a carbon fiber manufacturing plant. He's had to remove cannabis from the forbidden drugs found in drug tests. Either accept that employees smoke pot or continue the struggle to find qualified employees. MN has only a joke of a medical program. Very difficult to access ...

Re: Even the mormon capital of the USA has legalized medicinal cannabis..

One idea i've heard that really appealed to me is this: Make dashcams mandatory and allow the driver to submit clips of someone driving poorly to the government. Enough flags on one person, and they get followed a few times and pulled over if caught in the act, or if a report was really bad, then t...

Re: Even the mormon capital of the USA has legalized medicinal cannabis..

Yeah, the Mormons run the same game with alcohol. They have a monopoly on sales, and it's all for their own gain. I say 'the Mormons' because the church literally controls 95% of aspects of government here, which is a rounding error to 100%. Our medical program is very weak and verrryyy over-regula...

Re: Where are the hq geared hub motors?

MACs today are nearly perfect geared motors, and the stator itself has the thinnest laminations ever seen in any hub motor to keep the cooling issue at bay as much as possible, and the gears/clutch have gone through almost a dozen revisions for strength. The real limit for geared motors is thermal ...

Re: Even the mormon capital of the USA has legalized medicinal cannabis..

Opium and cannabis are two distinctly different critters. Absolutely no comparison. My biggest bitch about legalization is the continued lack of sources for "medical" grade. Which in many places is highest THC rather than higher CBD. Legalization rode on the back of the medicinal movement, only to f...

Re: TSDZ2 mid drive -- Flexible OpenSource firmware for TongSheng TSDZ2 mid drive motor

What incredible work! I'd gotten frustrated with my TSDZ2 and now thanks to your hard work and generosity, it'll be like a new motor. The fact that these folks post a manual and the ease of working on these motors makes it a major competitor for BBS01B and 02B. Bafang STILL hasn't released a proper ...

AFAIK the subsidized rates only go up to around four and a half pounds, so not many ebike/etc batteries will qualify for that (though individual cells do for the ebike-sized stuff and some of the bigger car-sized stuff).

Spot on USPS does not ship larger battery packs. Legally at least.

Re: How a Lunacycle / Hailong battery fares after 2 years..

From the 4 early batteries I opened up, all were somewhat different in construction. Leading me to believe there were several, all different sources. I do have a Dolphin from Luna and one from UPP that are identical, down to the BMS, Kapton, sticky cardboard and reinforced tape used. The worst lot I...

"The poster child for the movement to overhaul the rates was the "Mighty Mug," a patented spill-proof travel coffee mug. Full circle here, back to Mr. Reliability, EM3ev. Paul's packs have a much lower failure rate. Having Bluetooth to gauge battery should be a very helpful troubleshooting tool.

Re: IT'S ALIVE...... BBS02HD!!

Any idea if the metal gear made for the BBSHD will fit in the BBS02? Plastic gear meltdowns were pretty common on the BBS02. There was an experiment on a Luna run page and it was a failure. Others have come forward claiming they can make a gear that will work but so far unobtanium. I have to ask ho...

After selling UPP batteries for 2 years, and quite a few at that, we've watched the quality control tumble. BAD BMS. To many failures and it's a fight to get UPP and Rechie to acknowledge the problem. Early on, very good builds, and very willing to build to spec. Something has changed. Sadly we've ...

I believe the proper way for ES to go is to extend and modify phpbb. phpbb is oldschool, but at least written in a relatively sane manner. Modernvespa.com is maintained by an Apple employee. Some of it's features are almost draconian, for lack of a better wordpoking, but self-policing and well wort...

Re: List of small hatchback cars

I thought that might be the case with the fit. At least a bit noisy to drive freeway speed. ( out here, that's 85 mph btw, 75-speed limit) Not a problem if its a drive half an hour to work car, but on a 700-mile drive, quieter gets nice. With the focus vs the Subaru, it was noise coming from the fr...

How is the noise level of the fit? That was the other turn off for me, on the focus. The ford focus was not bad noisy, like our tiny ford festiva was. But after I drove the Subaru a lot I got used to pretty darn quiet ride. Then we'd sometimes take a longer trip in the focus just for the better mil...
