Re: Pinch torque arm

The grin V2 torque arm isn't pinch and not good for motors with regen Works great, one installed as designed and one reversed. Running for 3 years. 2500 miles. Just a 1000W MXUS at 52V 25A buttoning regen. How do you do that? I have 2 torque arm mounted reverse to each other and there are still wig...

Anyone tried a grip shift pas levels switch like the XH-18 with bbsXX motors ? I read somewhere that old bafang display might work with the tongsheng motor; is the other way around also true ?
2 resellers have indicated these are troublesome units. Both are reliable sources.

I need someting bigger that protects the cables from the u-turn and some 5 centimeters up on the fork. When the u-turn part is unprotected it gets snagged in.
I found the Grin part very effective. Simple and extremely strong.

Been adding and changing this Manhattan Smoothie since last June..... I think I’m done with the mods. It has 2000 Watts, an Allcell 48v 23ah battery and a Cycle Analyst. The conversion was done by H.e.H out of Ann Arbor, MI - did a great job. Added suspension front fork, back rest, Hobson seat, Thu...

Only Sanyo GA is holding its capacity above 70% even after 1000 cycles under 100% DoD.
Any real data points to demonstrate those claims? Even GA official data fly in the face of those claims.

We should have a separate thread for the Ultra motor. I heard some versions of these used a sensorless controller, which could explain the hall sensors not being used. At some point in time they switched to the metal gears also. Seems Bafang keeps making changes, which maybe indicates the earlier d...

IIRC, at least originally, these kits had to be ordered with a throttle, and one coudlnt' be added afterward. If that's true of the new LCD version as well, then the ones offered with a throttle may be the only ones that support one. Something to think about and check on. When i ordered mine it was...
