Re: Winterized

I gave up on winterizing my summer ebike long time ago
Reason ?
Installing studed tires every fall
If you dont need studed tires so yoj do not have real winter

Re: Dozens of Bicycles Recovered!

those stupid bicycle racks,
building designers still put them outside buildings, they were OK in 60-70ties, but now?
If I cannot roll my ebike inside between entrance doors, I do not use this business.

Re: Dozens of Bicycles Recovered!

No there were not ebikes recovered as far as I know.
In such turist area where bikes are often rented bikes are easy target
probably tourists leave them all over the place
with false impression

Re: observable symptoms as cells degrade

We can picture internal resistance as resistor in series with cell.
As it ages this resistor value increases.
This internal resistance causes voltage drop

Re: Show me your front light(s)

MarkZ
This LED light from Princess Auto.
What battery it would take to power it on ebike? Just wonder?
Is it not overkill for ebike?
So many LEDs for given lumen output would suggest there are not latest LED technology.

Re: What E-Bike Rack do you use?

In at least 20 years I transported my ebike once.
On minivan.
I ride my ebike to destination.
Don't use fossil fuel to get there to start riding
I start riding from home.
I guess regular double biker rack would handle one even heavy ebike

Re: Lime Bike battery fire

very fact that those scooters can be abandoned just like that with no responsability from renter at all, is bad bad and City of Calgary should not give that company permission to operate at all. so battery run out of juice and you can abandon this in the middle of pathway? or does not it work like t...

Re: Baked

Horrible
It was just matter of time with no any thermal protection.
So another one baked.
I understand opening it and installing thermal protection is hard job but if controller accept thermal sensor, thermistor input is it just obvious thing to do?

In which way Flisky switch failed?
contacts burned?
Connecting battery to controller require beefy switch , because capacitors in controller - spark.

I been seeing Lime ebike abandoned all of over Calgary some of them in the middle of no where for example industrial area.
To sabotage such ebike would have been very easy with nobody around.
One abandoned in Foothills Industrial in the middle of sidwalk for 3 days.

Re: Cell -log help

I did not mean LVC and HVC buzzer.
I ment celllog had alarm output which was open collector output which can be configured as NO or NC.
Also Tenergy - does it displays all 6 cells voltage on one screen at once ??
I cannot find picture which displays it.
